Hyundai Tucson N Line Makes Its Global Debut in Paris
The 2027 Hyundai Tucson N Line European Version has made its global debut at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, bringing a more performance-inspired appearance to Hyundai's latest compact SUV.
Introduced alongside the regular Tucson, the N Line builds on the redesigned model's larger proportions, updated interior and new connectivity technology.
The changes are primarily visual, with dedicated exterior components and a cabin treatment inspired by Hyundai's N performance models.
The Tucson itself remains an important part of Hyundai's European range, having recorded more than two million sales across the region since the first generation arrived in 2004.
Angular Front Bumper and New H Edge Lighting
The N Line takes Hyundai's Art of Steel design language and adds several model-specific details.
At the front, an angular bumper incorporates a pronounced chin spoiler and satin black aerodynamic ducts. H-Edge lighting stretches across the front, combining indirect illumination with sharply defined outer lighting elements.
The side profile retains the standard Tucson's muscular wheel arches and relatively clean door surfaces.
N Line additions include sculpted side skirts, body-coloured lower door trims, gloss black mirrors and matching C-pillar inserts.
At the rear, Hyundai has fitted a dedicated bumper with diffuser-effect detailing and twin exhaust outlets.
The Prism Rear Lamp features a three-dimensional internal structure, while N Line badges appear on the front, rear and front wings.
20 Inch Alloy Wheels and Larger SUV Proportions
The Tucson N Line rides on model-specific 20-inch alloy wheels, adding to its more substantial appearance.
Although the new generation has grown in size, Hyundai has not provided exact exterior dimensions in the supplied announcement.
The larger body brings additional passenger space, including 1,002 mm of rear legroom and 1,038 mm of front headroom.
Luggage capacity reaches 695 litres, while the rear doors now open to 83 degrees instead of the previous 73 degrees.
Black Monotone Cabin With Pleos Connect
Inside, the N Line receives an exclusive Black Monotone interior with red accents across the seats, dashboard and doors.
Textile suede upholstery is accompanied by an N steering wheel with perforated leather grips, red stitching and dark metal details.
The two-layer dashboard incorporates Hyundai's Pleos Connect system, with available 12.9-inch or 17-inch central displays and a separate 9.9-inch digital instrument screen.
Gleo AI voice assistance, over-the-air updates and optional Bang & Olufsen audio form part of the technology offering.
Hybrid and Plug In Hybrid Powertrains
The new Tucson range includes a hybrid producing 245 PS and 380 Nm.
A plug-in hybrid combines a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a 17.1 kWh battery, producing 292 PS and 380 Nm. Its estimated electric range reaches 81 km with 17-inch wheels, subject to final homologation.
A 150 PS petrol engine is also offered, alongside a 48V mild hybrid configuration.
Hyundai has not confirmed which powertrains will be available specifically with the European N Line trim.
European Production and Market Positioning
The new Tucson will be manufactured at Hyundai's Nošovice facility in the Czech Republic.
The N Line is positioned as the sportier styling alternative within the Tucson family rather than a dedicated high-performance N model.
European pricing and market-specific equipment details have not yet been announced.
