A substantial front bumper carries a Cosmo grey spoiler. Seen in the official press images on page three, the Epiq has short overhangs, pronounced wheel arches and a relatively upright cabin, giving the 4.1 metre crossover a planted appearance.
A new tornado line separates the body from the glasshouse and helps form stronger shoulders along the sides.
Small Footprint Leaves Room for 475 Litres
At 4.1 metres long, the Epiq remains firmly in compact SUV territory. It seats five and provides a 475 litre luggage compartment, a sizeable figure considering the exterior footprint.
The official side and rear three quarter images reinforce that packaging approach. The roofline remains fairly upright rather than adopting a coupe-like profile, while the wheels are pushed towards the corners.
Physical Controls Remain Inside
Skoda's minimalist approach continues in the cabin, though usability has not been handed entirely to touch controls. The release confirms physical buttons and haptic scroll wheels alongside wireless phone charging.
Storage also receives attention, with bag hooks, fasteners, Simply Clever compartments and concealed underfloor spaces. Exact display dimensions, upholstery materials and Sportline cabin details are not supplied.
Up to 425 Km of Electric Range
Skoda quotes up to 425 km of driving range for the Epiq show car. Battery capacity, motor output, acceleration, charging speed and drivetrain layout are not specified in this particular release.
Production is assigned to Volkswagen's Navarra plant in Spain as part of the Electric Urban Car Family project. Skoda also said the production Epiq's starting price was expected to be comparable with the combustion engined Kamiq in many markets.
