BMW offers M Sport and M Sport Pro packages for the new eighth generation 3 Series.
M Sport adds specific bumpers, skirts, an M diffuser and blue M Sport brakes.
M Sport Pro brings black mirror caps, a black rear spoiler and red M Sport brakes.
The 2027 BMW 3 Series M Performance Parts G50 introduces a more aggressive visual direction for BMW's eighth generation sports sedan, although there is an important distinction in the supplied material. BMW specifically describes M Sport and M Sport Pro packages rather than a separate catalogue of “M Performance Parts.”
What is confirmed is a sizeable factory M treatment for the new 3 Series, covering its bumpers, skirts, brakes, wheels and smaller exterior details. BMW says combustion 3 Series models become available from March 2027.
M Sport Changes The Neue Klasse Body
The underlying sedan adopts BMW's Neue Klasse design language, with a 2.5 box silhouette, longer wheelbase and short overhangs. Flush door handles clean up the sides, while the set back glasshouse sits between prominently flared wheel arches.
The optional M Sport package builds on that shape with the M Aerodynamics package. It brings specific bumpers, skirts and an M specific rear diffuser. Combustion models also receive body colored side skirts.
M Performance variants receive the M Sport package as standard.
M Sport Pro Adds Darker Details
BMW takes the treatment further with the optional M Sport Pro package. Black exterior mirror caps and a black rear spoiler provide the clearest visual changes, while the braking hardware switches from the blue M Sport brakes of the regular package to red M Sport brakes.
Those parts sit against a body that is larger than the outgoing G20. Combustion versions measure 4,765 mm long and 1,850 mm wide, with a 2,860 mm wheelbase. The electric i3 has a longer 2,897 mm wheelbase and measures 1,865 mm across.
Wheels Reach 21 Inches On The i3
Wheel choice depends on the powertrain. Combustion versions offer 18 to 20 inch light alloy wheels, while the electric i3 range spans 19 to 21 inches.
The M350 xDrive receives 19 inch Style 1139 M wheels in Bi colour Jet Black as standard. BMW has also confirmed an exclusive 21 inch Style 1067M aerodynamic wheel for the forthcoming i3 M60 xDrive.
Panoramic iDrive Changes The Cabin
Inside, the new 3 Series introduces BMW Panoramic iDrive. Panoramic Vision projects information across the lower windscreen, working alongside a driver angled 17.9 inch Central Display.
M Sport seats are available with the M Sport package and come standard with M Sport Pro. They feature more pronounced side sections, while BMW also offers an M steering wheel. The cabin retains practical touches including 40:20:40 split folding rear seats.
Performance Depends On The Chosen Model
The packages do not introduce a specific powertrain upgrade in the supplied release. Instead, performance depends on the underlying 3 Series.
The combustion range extends from the 156 hp BMW 318 to the 443 hp M350 xDrive, while the electric i3 launches with 374 hp and 469 hp xDrive variants.
