Carbon fiber mirror caps, a carbon front badge and Quadrifoglio inspired exterior details distinguish the Giulia Luna Rossa.
Dark 19 inch wheels are paired with red brake calipers, while white, black and Etna red exterior colors are offered.
Engine choices include 160 hp and 210 hp diesels, with a 280 hp petrol available in the UK and non European markets.
The 2027 Alfa Romeo Giulia Luna Rossa brings a sailing influenced layer of carbon fiber, dark finishes and recycled materials to Alfa Romeo's sports sedan. It forms part of the wider Edizione Luna Rossa range revealed in Napoli ahead of the second Preliminary Regatta for the 2027 America's Cup.
The new special series covers Junior, Tonale, Giulia and Stelvio and will progressively reach European markets. Each sits at the top of its respective model range.
Carbon Fiber Gives The Giulia A Darker Look
Giulia and Stelvio take a different approach from the Junior and Tonale. Carbon fiber plays a much larger role, with the Giulia receiving a carbon front badge and carbon fiber mirror caps carrying the Luna Rossa logo.
The mirrors are joined by dedicated red Alfa Romeo logos. Giulia also receives side skirts and a spoiler whose styling recalls the Quadrifoglio, giving the sedan a more performance focused appearance without simply reproducing the earlier Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa.
White is the standard exterior color. Black and Etna red are available as alternatives.
Dark 19 Inch Wheels Change The Stance
The Giulia's familiar sedan proportions are retained, but the Luna Rossa treatment adds specifically designed dark 19 inch wheels. Red brake calipers provide the main color contrast behind them.
That combination works with the carbon components and restrained exterior palette rather than relying on a completely redesigned body. The result is visually separate from the Junior and Tonale Luna Rossa models, which use Gloss Black exterior elements and their own sailing inspired graphics.
ECONYL And Carbon Fill The Cabin
The nautical connection becomes more obvious inside. A Luna Rossa liner crosses the seats, while leather is combined with 100 percent recycled ECONYL fabric made using nylon partly sourced from fishing nets recovered from the seabed.
Carbon fiber spreads across the dashboard, center console and doors. Leather also covers the dashboard and door panels, while a red Alfa Romeo logo appears on the steering wheel. Luna Rossa graphics complete the dashboard treatment.
Standard equipment includes a Harman Kardon audio system and electronically controlled suspension. Giulia also receives an electric sunroof as standard.
Diesel And Petrol Engines Remain
Two versions of the 2.2 litre turbodiesel are specified. The 160 hp model uses an eight speed automatic transmission and rear wheel drive, while the 210 hp version pairs the same transmission with Q4 all wheel drive.
A 280 hp 2.0 litre GME petrol engine is also offered, although the release limits its availability to the UK and non European regions.
Pricing has not been announced in the supplied material. The Giulia Luna Rossa instead arrives as the broader production counterpart to the already sold out Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa, of which only ten examples were produced. Unlike that earlier car, this edition focuses heavily on trim, materials and equipment while retaining the regular Giulia engine range.
