Updated Design and Exterior Refinement
The 2026 Nissan X-Trail Ti-L e-POWER is now on sale in Australia, part of the broader MY26 X-Trail update that introduces styling revisions and expanded technology across the range. Since its local introduction in 2001, the X-Trail has recorded more than 330,000 sales, reinforcing its status as a core model in Nissan Australia’s portfolio.
For MY26, the Ti-L e-POWER adopts a refreshed fascia featuring an evolved V-Motion grille, redesigned front bumper and revised LED lighting signatures. The rear receives an updated bumper treatment, while new 18- and 19-inch wheel designs appear on select grades. The stance remains upright and family-focused, yet the detailing adds a sharper, more premium visual edge.
Two new exterior colours, Deep Ocean Blue and Everest White, join the palette. Inside the Ti-L, a new Chestnut interior option replaces Tan, while black-interior variants now transition to fully black upper dash and door trims for a more cohesive cabin tone.
Cabin Upgrades and Digital Integration
The MY26 Nissan X-Trail range now includes a 12.3-inch infotainment screen as standard across all grades, paired with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The Ti-L e-POWER builds on this with tri-zone climate control and a hands-free power tailgate, features aimed squarely at family convenience.
Mid-range ST-L models get power-adjustable front passenger seats and real leather accent trim, while updated materials and a redesigned steering wheel improve perceived quality. The Ti-L stays at the top of the market by putting comfort and finish above overt sportiness.
A significant change is the rollout of Nissan's Connected Car Services (CCS 1.0) throughout the MY26 lineup. Owners can access maintenance alerts, theft notifications, and vehicle health reports via a specialized smartphone app. On the Ti-L derivative, remote engine start is also available.
Enhanced Around View and Driver Assistance
From ST-L grade upwards, the updated X-Trail features an enhanced 3D Around View Monitor system. Drivers can rotate the vehicle virtually or select from eight camera views to assist with tight manoeuvres. The system now incorporates Skeleton Hood View for improved obstacle visibility and T-Junction view for better awareness at low-speed intersections.
The MY26 Ti-L e-POWER retains Nissan Safety Shield 360, with ProPILOT and Lane Keep Assist available on higher grades. Intelligent Cruise Control, Forward Emergency Braking with Junction functionality and Blind Spot Warning with Intervention continue as part of the comprehensive safety offering.
e-POWER and Ownership Proposition
The 2026 Nissan X-Trail Ti-L e-POWER continues to deliver hybrid drive through 100 percent electric motor propulsion, with no external charging required. In e-POWER variants, the e-4ORCE all-wheel-drive system integrates intelligent torque distribution for enhanced traction and stability.
The 10,000 km service intervals for the e-POWER and ICE MY26 models have been extended to 15,000 km or 12 months. Combined with Nissan’s 10-year/300,000km Nissan MORE warranty and $399 flat-price servicing for the first five years, the ownership proposition strengthens further.
Market Position
In Australia’s competitive medium SUV segment, the 2026 Nissan X-Trail Ti-L e-POWER balances refreshed design, expanded connectivity and extended service intervals. It does not alter the core formula. Instead, it refines it.
For families seeking hybrid efficiency without plug-in complexity, the Ti-L e-POWER remains a measured, technology-forward option within the segment.
