When Architecture Meets Car Design, You Get the Audi 20quattro Vision GT

The Audi 20quattro Vision Gran Turismo is a personal design study by Gabriel Naretto, penned in the spirit of the Vision Gran Turismo series. It's not an official Audi concept. It's a designer's view of how the brand's performance DNA might be reimagined.

The task was to prove an Audi that is engineered in spirit and not styled. Every element has a purpose, and the shape reflects that intent.

A Different Kind of Audi Concept

The 20quattro is architecturally motivated. Expansive planes cross over as structural panels, taking elements from Brutalist and Deconstructivist philosophies. The body appears to be milled from monolithic material, aggressive cuts marking direction and proportion.

Red intakes pierce the clean surfaces and give the design a palpable pulse. The metallic beige finish maintains the shape's earthiness and introduces a less brawny type of presence.

A thin horizontal light bar and simple quattro lettering complete the rear. The long, low stance recalls Audi’s endurance racers—functional, stable, and built around balance.

Proportion and Form

The cabin sits forward with the mechanical mass centered. The car has a low, planted posture. Each surface guides light rather than decoration, giving the form a measured rhythm.

There’s no ornament or excess. The design depends on its proportions to communicate strength and intent.

Meaning and Vision

Although it’s not part of the official Vision Gran Turismo lineup, the 20quattro fits naturally beside Audi’s experimental works such as the e-tron Vision Gran Turismo, PB18 e-tron, and Skysphere Concept.

Those studies examined performance through technology; Naretto’s version looks instead at how form and material can express motion on their own.

It builds identity from proportion, accuracy, and mass—the same principles that shaped the early quattro era.
