Hugo grew up in Sweden, where his dad drove Saabs and his mom stuck with Volvos. That mix of quirky engineering and everyday practicality quietly shaped the way he looks at cars and probably everything else.
He went on to study Industrial Design in Milan, where he first connected with the founder of what would later become DailyRevs. After graduating, he spent the next few years designing for studios and manufacturers across Salzburg, Coventry, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Dubai, soaking up different ideas about form, function, and car culture.
Somewhere along the way, he started helping friends and clients polish their writing and visual stories. One project led to another, and before long, content had become his new creative outlet. When the DailyRevs blog came to life and the founder invited him onboard, stepping into an editorial role just made sense.
Today, Hugo helps shape the site’s voice, features, and content direction. He brings a designer’s instinct to every story and still has a soft spot for wagons, clean proportions, and cars that know when to keep quiet.
