2027 Subaru BRZ ZC15

The BRZ ZC15 honors the ZC chassis code of the first generation BRZ that reached the U.S. in 2012.
Ceramic White paint, matte bronze wheels and bronze side decals reference the 2020 BRZ tS.
A 228 hp 2.4 litre Boxer engine, six speed manual and rear wheel drive remain central to the package.
The 2027 Subaru BRZ ZC15 is a limited production anniversary model created to mark 15 years since the BRZ first arrived in the United States. Revealed at Boxerfest 2026 in York, Pennsylvania, it takes its ZC15 name from the ZC chassis code of the original 2012 model.
Subaru will build only 300 examples. The ZC15 arrives in early 2027, with detailed pricing and specifications due closer to its market launch.
Ceramic White Meets Matte Bronze
Subaru has kept the exterior changes simple and recognizable. Ceramic White is exclusive to the ZC15 and is paired with matte bronze wheels, gold painted Brembo brake calipers and bronze decals positioned near the side sills.
The white and bronze combination has a specific reference point. Subaru says it pays homage to the 2020 BRZ tS, which used a similar color scheme.
A black decklid spoiler adds contrast at the rear. Under the hood sits a flexible V bar, bringing a functional chassis component into an anniversary package that otherwise relies heavily on color and detail changes.
Familiar Coupe Proportions Remain
There are no announced changes to the BRZ's basic body proportions. The ZC15 retains the two door coupe format and rear wheel drive layout that have defined the model since its introduction.
Against the Ceramic White body, the darker wheels and black rear spoiler create most of the visual separation. Bronze graphics running near the lower side sills add another small reference to the anniversary theme without substantially changing the exterior.
Subaru has not provided dimensions or aerodynamic figures specifically for the ZC15.
Bordeaux Red Changes The Cabin
The anniversary treatment becomes more distinctive inside. Black leather appointed upholstery is paired with Bordeaux red inserts that are not shared with the rest of the BRZ lineup.
A unique ZC15 anniversary plaque sits near the shifter. The transmission itself receives an STI aluminium and leather short shifter, keeping the changes concentrated around the driver's controls.
Subaru does not mention changes to the infotainment system, displays, audio equipment or cargo space in the release.
228 HP Boxer Remains Naturally Aspirated
Power comes from a 2.4 litre Subaru Boxer engine producing 228 hp. It is paired exclusively with a six speed manual transmission, with power sent to the rear wheels.
The ZC15's formula is therefore less about adding engine output and more about preserving the BRZ's existing mechanical character while giving the car a recognizable anniversary specification.
Only 300 ZC15 Models Will Be Built
The BRZ ZC15 was revealed alongside the 2027 WRX GD25, which marks 25 years since the WRX reached America. Both use historic chassis codes as their names and combine heritage inspired colors with Subaru performance accessories.
For the BRZ, the result is particularly focused: 300 Ceramic White cars, each with bronze detailing, Brembo brakes, a manual gearbox and rear wheel drive.
