2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet 992 ll US Version
By Lorenzo Bianchi October 8, 2026
The 3.6-litre T-Hybrid boxer engine produces 523 kW (711 PS) and 800 Nm, making the new Turbo S Porsche's most powerful series-production 911.
Two electric turbochargers, an integrated electric motor and an eight-speed PDK transmission support the all-wheel-drive system.
The Cabriolet retains four seats and gains revised aerodynamics, standard ceramic brakes, electro-hydraulic roll stabilisation and additional Turbonite detailing.
The 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet introduces Porsche's latest T-Hybrid technology to its flagship open-top 911. The new generation pairs a substantially revised 3.6-litre boxer engine with two electrically assisted turbochargers, increasing combined output to 711 PS.
It arrives alongside the Turbo S Coupé, sharing the same powertrain and upgraded chassis hardware. For the Cabriolet, the formula remains familiar: substantial performance, a folding fabric roof and enough comfort equipment for regular road use.
Wider Bodywork And Revised Front Aerodynamics
The new Turbo S retains the broad proportions associated with Porsche's turbocharged 911 models. Compared with the Carrera, its front wheel arches are 45 mm wider, while the rear arches add another 20 mm to the body width.
Larger cooling intakes occupy the front bumper. Five vertical cooling-air flaps work alongside an active front diffuser and adjustable spoiler to manage airflow.
At the rear, the extendable wing remains a defining feature. Revised ventilation openings, titanium exhaust outlets and a textured trim section beneath the taillight strip distinguish the updated design.
Turbonite Details And Convertible Roof Options
Porsche introduces its Turbo-specific Turbonite colour across the exterior, including the badges, window surrounds and wheel detailing.
The Cabriolet offers fabric roof finishes in black, blue, brown and red, alongside a black roof with grey stripes.
Standard centre-lock wheels measure 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear. The wider rear tyres now measure 325/30 ZR 21.
Four Seats And A More Detailed Cabin
Unlike the standard two-seat Turbo S Coupé, the Cabriolet retains four seats.
The interior combines smooth black leather with Turbonite stitching, seatbelts and dashboard accents. Standard 18-way Adaptive Sports Seats Plus carry embossed Turbo S lettering.
Porsche's updated Communication Management system includes connected applications and Amazon Alexa integration. A 12-speaker Bose surround sound system with Dolby Atmos support is standard.
Twin Electric Turbochargers Deliver 711 PS
The new 3.6-litre flat-six T-Hybrid powertrain develops 523 kW (711 PS) and 800 Nm.
Its two electric turbochargers improve boost response while recovering energy from exhaust flow. A compact 1.9 kWh battery supplies the 400 V hybrid system, which also incorporates an electric motor inside the eight-speed PDK transmission.
Power reaches all four wheels through Porsche Traction Management.
Ceramic Brakes And Active Chassis Control
Standard electro-hydraulic Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control reduces body roll, while revised Porsche Active Suspension Management adjusts damping characteristics.
The ceramic braking system uses 420 mm front discs and 410 mm rear discs, accompanied by yellow callipers.
Rear-axle steering and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus also form part of the standard equipment.
The Cabriolet occupies the open-top flagship position in the 911 range. Porsche quotes a 2.5-second 0–100 km/h time for the Turbo S, although the supplied material does not separately establish that figure for the Cabriolet.
