UK prices start at £70,995, with order books already open. The Helmsman begins a series of limited-production special editions inspired by natural elements.
Ineos Grenadier Helmsman Introduces Nautical Styling
The 2026 Ineos Grenadier Helmsman has been introduced as a new special edition aimed at customers who use their 4x4 vehicles for outdoor activities, particularly those involving boats, coastal travel and watersports.
The Helmsman, the first of a planned series of special editions inspired by the natural elements announced in October 2026 as part of the Grenadier’s MY2027 line-up.
It is available on both the Station Wagon and Quartermaster pickup, retaining the Grenadier's established body configurations while introducing a different selection of exterior colours, interior materials and equipment.
The changes build on features previously offered through Ineos Automotive's limited-production models, including its Arcane Works programme.
Whiteout Blue Metallic and Dark Exterior Details
The Helmsman's appearance centres on a selection of ocean-inspired colours and darker exterior components.
Whiteout Blue Metallic, originally developed for Arcane Works vehicles, is now available on the special edition.
Eldoret Blue and Scottish White are offered as standard colours, while buyers can specify a contrasting roof finished in Inky Black or Scottish White.
A Dark Exterior Pack introduces a black front grille, dark skidplates and newly developed matte black roof rails.
Exclusive Helmsman badging provides another identifying detail.
The overall treatment retains the familiar Grenadier bodywork, concentrating on colour combinations and equipment rather than changes to the vehicle's proportions.
17 Inch Diamond Cut Wheels and Practical Equipment
The Helmsman rides on distinctive 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, accompanied by locking wheel nuts.
Privacy glass is included, together with a rear access ladder on the Station Wagon or a load bay tub on the Quartermaster, depending on the body style.
Carpet floor mats are fitted over the Grenadier's heavy-duty wash-down rubber flooring, maintaining the vehicle's practical interior arrangement.
The edition also receives equipment from the Smooth Pack, including front parking sensors, auxiliary electrical points and ambient cabin lighting.
Oyster Leather Inserts Distinguish the Cabin
Inside, the Helmsman introduces black leather seats with contrasting oyster-coloured inserts.
Heated seating is included, giving the interior additional comfort equipment while retaining the Grenadier's functional layout.
The lighter upholstery provides a noticeable contrast against the darker cabin surfaces.
Ineos has not announced a separate dashboard design or new infotainment technology specifically for this edition.
Instead, the changes concentrate on materials, colour selection and features suited to regular use.
Powertrain Details and Limited Production Plans
The supplied announcement does not identify engine output, transmission specifications or mechanical changes exclusive to the Helmsman.
Its positioning remains focused on the Grenadier's established off-road capability, with the special edition introducing additional equipment and nautical-themed personalisation.
Ineos Automotive has confirmed a limited production window, although a specific production quantity has not been disclosed.
UK Orders Open With Prices From £70,995
The Grenadier Helmsman is available to order in the United Kingdom, with prices starting at £70,995.
Both Station Wagon and Quartermaster configurations are offered.
The Helmsman will be available for a short time before Ineos rolls out the next elements-inspired special edition, adding even more unique configurations to the Grenadier lineup.
