2025 Renault Vision 4rescue Concept

By Team Dailyrevs

  • The 2025 Renault Vision 4rescue Concept is built on the Renault 4 E‑Tech electric platform and tailored for real-world emergency response.

  • It integrates nearly 20 connected tools—including drones, sensors, and a full workstation—for first responders.

  • Designed with fire services across 19 countries, the vehicle focuses on versatility, resilience, and rapid deployment.

A Familiar EV, Now Ready for Anything

The 2025 Renault Vision 4rescue Concept looks like someone crossed an off-road rally car with a firefighter’s toolkit. And that’s mostly accurate. Based on the Renault 4 E‑Tech platform, the concept ditches the clean city lines for functional flares—thicker tires, raised suspension (+15 mm), and matte-finished cladding in a deep blue shade that just looks serious.

Yellow safety accents, red high-vis striping, and the oversized "SAPEURS POMPIERS" lettering remove any doubt: this thing’s not headed to the nearest Whole Foods.

Function Comes First, Tech Works Quietly

Instead of loading it up with screens just for show, Renault and Software République kept things practical. There’s a suite of almost 20 rescue-focused tools—some visible, many tucked in smartly. A rear-mounted drone bay with long- and short-range drones sits next to a mobile command post. The back hatch reveals a sliding workstation complete with two monitors, while sensor networks inside talk to surrounding infrastructure—even when cell signal’s out.

This isn’t a concept that pretends to work. It actually looks like it could roll out of the paddock at Le Mans and start saving lives.

Inside: Designed for People Who Work in Chaos

The cabin feels more utilitarian than luxurious. The foam padding? Made from recycled firefighter suits. The passenger grab bar says “Je te reçois 4 sur 4”—radio speak for “I hear you loud and clear.” Emergency-labeled drawers and reflective trim on the doors help crews grab the right gear fast. It’s all business, and that’s the point.

Even the 3D-printed "PinPon"-pattern bumpers—the French onomatopoeia for sirens—aren’t just gimmicks. They help protect the vehicle during rough, real-world use.

Where It Stands in the EV Emergency Segment

Unlike most electric ambulances or delivery-style rescue EVs, the Vision 4rescue feels like a true all-rounder. It’s not chasing speed or luxury—it’s built for muddy trails, power outages, and drone-guided rescue missions in uncharted terrain. The AWD system and flexible electric drivetrain make it adaptable across urban, rural, and post-disaster zones.

Competition? Almost nonexistent. It’s carving out its own niche—somewhere between a support vehicle, a communications node, and a digital command center on wheels.

Renault’s Purpose-Driven Concept

Unveiled during the 2025 Le Mans 24 Hours H2 Village showcase, this isn’t just another showpiece. Renault developed the Vision 4rescue in close collaboration with firefighters from 19 countries. That shows. It’s not just meant to turn heads—it’s built to respond when things go wrong. And sometimes, that’s more impressive than any horsepower figure.
