2025 ECD Automotive Design Jaguar E-type

By Team Dailyrevs

  • The 2025 ECD Jaguar E-type GTO pairs hand-formed aluminium bodywork with a 400+ hp V12.

  • It mixes Series I–III styling cues into a more aggressive yet elegant silhouette.

  • A fully modernized cabin and chassis make it a proper performance car, not just a rolling sculpture.

A Modern V12 With Classic Soul

What immediately draws the eye is that big cat of an engine—Jaguar’s original V12, yes, but thoroughly reworked by Team CJ in Texas. Power now crests 400 hp, with bespoke fuel injection, new cooling systems, and a center-exit exhaust. The old E-type never had this kind of shove.

It’s built on a modified Series II chassis, stretched and reinforced to handle the power bump. This isn't a nostalgic cruiser—it’s tuned to actually drive. Hard.

Design: A Greatest Hits Remix

The ECD GTO doesn’t just stick to one E-type era. The bonnet and proportions draw from Series I, while the tail has more of the Series III presence. The flared fenders give it muscle without looking tacked-on.

It’s all aluminium—hand-shaped in Coventry. You can see it in the detailing: bonnet louvres that function, slim bullet mirrors, a rear that tucks neatly without losing grace. It looks like an E-type that spent some time in the gym but never stopped wearing a suit.

Under those arches? 15-inch Turrino wire wheels and modern disc brakes with six-piston calipers up front. Form and function, tightly packed.

Inside: Vintage Looks, Hidden Tech

Inside, it still feels like the 1960s. Until you notice the Bluetooth audio, heated seats, and USB charging ports. The dash wears Moal Bomber gauges and machined aluminium toggles. It’s tactile, honest, and entirely bespoke.

The leather is Spinneybeck. The seat frames are custom-built. You even get a removable hardtop—rare for E-types but cleverly integrated here. Nothing looks out of place, even when it’s hiding tech beneath period-perfect knobs.

More Than Just Looks

ECD didn’t stop at visuals. The suspension is adjustable. The steering rack’s quicker. The brakes are massive. Every mechanical element has been revisited to give this GTO real road presence—not just driveway drama.

You won’t mistake it for a new car, and that’s the point. It’s analog, sharp, and loud—but far from fragile.

Where It Fits In

The restomod market is crowded. EV conversions, cosmetic retouches, and nostalgia fluff everywhere. But this? This is something else. A V12-powered, handmade E-type that goes like a sports car and looks like a sculpture. Not cheap, either. Restorations at ECD start around $300,000—this one likely doubled that.

It’s not for everyone. It’s for the few who want an icon reimagined—with taste and torque in equal measure.

Final Word

The 2025 ECD Jaguar E-type GTO doesn’t shout. It sings. A V12 aria in aluminium, crafted for driving and staring alike. It’s what Jaguar could’ve done—if they had all the time and no budget cap.
