2025 Callum E-Type

By Team Dailyrevs

  • The 2025 Callum E-Type is a modern reinterpretation of the classic Jaguar E-Type, featuring subtle design updates while preserving its iconic silhouette.

  • Design enhancements include LED lighting, flush door handles, and a minimalist aesthetic achieved by removing traditional bumpers.

  • The interior blends vintage elements like a wooden steering wheel with modern touches such as digital gauges and touch-sensitive controls.

Familiar Shape, Sharper Execution

At first glance, you know what it is. That long bonnet. The tapering tail. The low-slung stance. The 2025 Callum E-Type hasn’t lost the DNA of the original Jaguar icon — and Ian Callum made sure of that.

But look closer and it’s different. The chrome bumpers are gone, giving the front and rear a cleaner profile, similar to the lightweight racers of the '60s. The flush door handles, updated LED lighting, and tri-spoke alloys sit in nicely without trying to modernize too much. It still feels vintage, just... tidier.

Proportions have been tweaked slightly. The car sits lower and wider than the original, and the wheels fill the arches in a way the '60s never could. It's confident. Not flashy.

A Cabin That Balances Touchscreens and Toggle Switches

Inside, it's a lesson in restraint. You’ve got red leather upholstery, a wooden steering wheel, and toggle switches that look lifted straight from a '60s coupe — but then you notice the transparent center console with touch-sensitive controls and digital gauges.

It doesn’t scream tech overload. There's still enough analog to make it feel honest. Think restomod, not reboot.

No Specs Yet — But Expect Old-School Power

There’s a manual shifter sitting proudly in the middle. Two big exhaust pipes out back. No EV badge, no plug — at least for now. Callum hasn’t confirmed the powertrain, but everything about the setup suggests an internal combustion engine. Likely a V8, maybe even something bespoke for low-volume production.

They’re not chasing numbers here. It’s more about the feel — the revs, the gearshift, the noise. All the stuff that made the original E-Type such an experience.

For Collectors Who Want to Actually Drive

This isn’t a wide-release kind of car. It’s part of Callum’s Portfolio Project series, and while it's officially a concept, the studio says they're open to producing bespoke builds for clients who want one.

That puts it in niche territory, aimed at collectors who actually want to drive their cars. Think Singer, but for Jaguar — understated elegance over performance headlines.
