The 2027 Xiaomi SkyNomad N90 Max is the larger of two models introducing Xiaomi Auto's new SkyNomad series. The supplied material describes it as the flagship seven seat extended range SUV, priced at RMB 299,900 during presales.
It also introduces the Kunlun Platform, developed around interior space, a completely flat cabin floor and reconfigurable seating rather than treating passenger packaging as an afterthought.
Upright Proportions Put Cabin Space First
At 5,285 mm long, 1,998 mm wide and 1,825 mm tall, the N90 Max is a substantial SUV. Its wheelbase stretches to 3,080 mm.
The body seen in the press images is deliberately upright. A flat roof extends almost to the tail, while a continuous waistline and rising sill line break up the tall profile. Front and rear lights sit at similar heights, adding visual balance to the squared shape.
Rounded rectangular details appear in the headlights, taillights, door handles and side cameras. Xiaomi says more than 140 aerodynamic optimizations contribute to a 0.255 drag coefficient, including an active grille.
21 Inch Wheels Fill The Large Body
Standard wheels are 21 inch Prism shaped rims, with optional 21 inch Beam shaped and Starburst shaped designs. Bridgestone quiet tuned tires are standard across the range.
Mountain Green and Valley Blue join Volcanic Gray among the exterior finishes shown. The large glass area and relatively straight roofline make the N90 Max read more like a space focused family vehicle than a low roofed crossover.
Seven Seat Cabin Gets A Completely Flat Floor
Inside, Xiaomi has taken a residential approach. A 1,530 mm cabinet style center console runs through the front cabin, accompanied by a two spoke steering wheel and concealed air vents.
The N90 Max uses soft wrapping across 95 percent of high touch interior surfaces, covering up to 32 square metres. Front seats include heating, ventilation and 16 point massage as standard, while as many as four zero gravity seats are available depending on configuration.
The Kunlun Platform reorganizes mechanical components around passenger space. Xiaomi describes a flat floor extending from the first row through the cargo area, with suspension and battery packaging designed to reduce intrusion into the cabin.
Extended Range Powertrain Details Remain Limited
The supplied material identifies the N90 Max as an extended range SUV and refers to a five in one EREV system integrated into the front cabin structure.
Cargo Space Matches The Boxy Proportions
Xiaomi quotes 2,760 mm of total occupant space and up to 1.55 metres of second row legroom. Maximum cargo capacity reaches 1,831 litres, while the cabin incorporates 34 storage compartments.
Rear doors open to nearly 90 degrees, and an optional electric side step is available. Those details underline where the N90 Max sits within the SkyNomad family: a large, seven seat model designed around passenger room, flexible storage and easier everyday access rather than simply exterior size.
