By Lorenzo Bianchi July 17, 2026
Porsche created a one off Taycan Turbo GT through the Sonderwunsch programme with around 30 bespoke details, many developed for the first time.
The exterior combines Nordicgoldmetallic paint with Turbonite, Neodyme, and Satin Black accents.
The flagship Taycan Turbo GT produces up to 815 kW (1,108 PS) while benefiting from lightweight construction and Porsche Active Ride suspension.
Not every special Porsche is destined for a limited production run. Sometimes it begins with a customer's idea. That is exactly what happened with the 2027 Porsche Taycan Turbo GT Sonderwunsch, a one off commission developed through Porsche's personalization programme for a Swiss owner who already has three Taycan sports sedans in the garage.
Working alongside Porsche Centre Lugano and the Sonderwunsch team in Zuffenhausen, the customer helped shape a Taycan Turbo GT unlike any other. The project eventually grew into roughly 30 bespoke details, with more than half requiring completely new developments for the programme.
Inspired By The Light Of Lake Lugano
The design story started long before the car entered the workshop. The customer arrived with a rendering and a clear vision, drawing inspiration from the warm orange and golden tones reflected across Lake Lugano at sunrise and sunset. Three meetings in Zuffenhausen, along with numerous consultations, refined the concept into a finished car that mixes the Taycan's performance character with classic styling cues.
The body wears Nordicgoldmetallic from Porsche's Paint to Sample catalogue, a color with historical links to Porsche models from the 1970s before returning on several models during the late 2000s. Small details provide contrast rather than dominating the design. Turbonite appears on the Porsche crest, while the mirror caps, B pillars and rear spoiler Gurney flap receive a high gloss black finish. Satin Neodyme accents continue across the front trim, side skirts and the outer rim of the forged 21 inch wheels, which are finished in Satin Black.
A Cabin Filled With Bespoke Craftsmanship
The interior follows the same philosophy. Pepita fabric covers the seat centers in Black and Slate Grey, paired with Pebble Grey leather and black Race Tex. Mojave Beige embroidery, Crayon stitching and carefully selected trim colors create a cabin that differs noticeably from a standard Taycan Turbo GT.
Attention extends to smaller components as well. The steering wheel, Sport Chrono clock, illuminated door sills, personalized floor mats, body colored key and handcrafted documentation folder were all tailored specifically for this commission. Even the storage compartment lid carries an embossed Sonderwunsch logo.
Flagship Performance Remains Intact
While the visual treatment is unique, the mechanical package remains that of Porsche's flagship electric sports sedan. The Taycan Turbo GT delivers up to 815 kW (1,108 PS) through a rear axle pulse inverter using silicon carbide technology. Intelligent lightweight construction trims as much as 75 kilograms compared with the Taycan Turbo S, while Porsche Active Ride suspension with GT specific tuning comes as standard.
