The 2027 Pagani Huayra 70 Derecho premiered at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Bespoke colors, handcrafted finishes, and exclusive titanium wheels define this one-off creation.
2027 Pagani Huayra 70 Derecho Debuts at Goodwood
The 2027 Pagani Huayra 70 Derecho didn't need fireworks to stand out at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed. Parked among some of the world's rarest performance cars, it drew attention the old-fashioned way. People simply stopped to look.
Created by Pagani's Grandi Complicazioni division, the Derecho is the second of just three Huayra 70 models commissioned to celebrate Horacio Pagani's 70th birthday. It's less about chasing lap times and more about showing what happens when craftsmanship is allowed to take center stage.
A Design That Changes With the Light
The name "Derecho" comes from a powerful straight-line windstorm, but the car itself feels calm rather than dramatic. Every surface has been carefully considered.
Its Pearl Orange and Blue finish reveals Pagani's signature fish-bone carbon weave beneath the paint. Walk around the car and the colors seem to shift. In bright sunlight the orange develops a warm metallic glow, while the deep blue sections around the lower body make the car appear even lower than it already is. It's one of those designs that's difficult to appreciate fully in a single photograph.
The Details Matter More Than the Numbers
The longer you spend around the 2027 Pagani Huayra 70 Derecho, the more you notice the little things.
Machined aluminum pieces finished in Glossy Titanium appear throughout the exterior, adding contrast without shouting for attention. The newly developed titanium wheels follow the same philosophy. They don't dominate the design—they simply belong there. That's very much the Pagani way.
Nothing feels added just because it could be. Every trim piece, every finish and every exposed section of carbon fiber seems to have a reason for being exactly where it is.
An Interior Built by Craftspeople
Open the door and the atmosphere changes completely.
Ceramic White leather brightens the cabin, while Tricolore Blue upholstery adds depth without overwhelming the space. Fine contrast stitching reminds you that much of the work has been completed by hand rather than by machine.
Small touches make an even bigger impression. The Pearl Orange marker at the top of the steering wheel echoes the exterior color, and the matching gear knob quietly ties the whole cabin together. None of it feels forced. It simply looks as though every element was planned from the very beginning.
A Celebration Rather Than a Replacement
Pagani arrived at Goodwood with plenty of machinery, including the Zonda F Roadster, Utopia Roadster, Huayra Codalunga Speedster and the Huayra R fitted with the Tempesta package. Yet the Derecho represents something different. It isn't introducing a new generation of hypercar or replacing an existing model.
Instead, it celebrates the company's heritage through one highly personal commission. With only three Huayra 70 cars planned, the 2027 Pagani Huayra 70 Derecho isn't intended to define Pagani's future. It reflects the values the company has held since the beginning: meticulous craftsmanship, mechanical artistry and the freedom to build something truly individual.
