The 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid Platinum sits at the top of Nissan's new e-POWER Rogue lineup, combining the same 225-hp electric-drive system used across the range with the model's most extensive technology package.
The full Rogue Hybrid range, including Platinum, reaches U.S. dealers in early 2027. Nissan is launching the SR Technology Package first in fall 2026.
Honeycomb Grille Leads A Wider Look
Nissan has given the Rogue Hybrid a more upright, athletic appearance. The geometric front fascia centers on a hexagonal honeycomb grille with LED headlights integrated into the surrounding design. Sharp-edged fenders sit against cleaner, sculpted body sides.
At the rear, an available full-width LED light crosses the liftgate. Eight exterior colors are offered along with five two-tone combinations using a black roof. New shades include Horizon Blue Pearl Metallic, Alpine Metallic and Aurora Dune Pearl.
Dual 14.3 Inch Displays Define Platinum Cabin
The Platinum's equipment becomes more distinctive inside. A 14.3-inch infotainment display with Google built-in is standard, providing Google Maps, Google Play and Google Gemini. Platinum also receives a 14.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 10-speaker Bose premium audio system.
Two Qi2 magnetic wireless chargers are fitted on Platinum. Physical HVAC controls remain, while available 64-color ambient lighting changes the cabin atmosphere without moving basic climate functions into the touchscreen.
Cargo space measures 31.1 cubic feet behind the second row and 65.9 cubic feet with the seats folded. Nearly 90-degree rear-door opening angles and five rear LATCH anchors add useful family-focused details.
e POWER Delivers Electric Motor Propulsion
The mechanical layout differs from a conventional parallel hybrid. A dedicated 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine acts as a generator and is never mechanically connected to the wheels. It can shut down when the battery has sufficient charge.
Instead, dual electric motors provide all propulsion and standard all-wheel drive, producing a combined 225 hp. The system continuously adjusts front-to-rear torque distribution and can lightly brake the inside wheels during cornering.
Nissan quotes targeted fuel economy of up to 40 mpg city, 36 highway and 38 combined for the Rogue Hybrid SR.
Platinum Adds More Driver Assistance Tech
Platinum includes access to Auto Lane Change and Hands-off Traffic Jam Support. The updated ProPILOT Assist setup also uses a new front radar sensor, a camera with a 20-percent wider field of view and revised software.
Nissan confirms Platinum will join the wider range in early 2027, but the supplied document only states that Rogue Hybrid pricing begins at $35,490 for the SV.
