2027 Maserati Grecale Adds New V6 Power
Maserati has updated its Grecale luxury SUV for 2027, bringing fresh styling details, new powertrain options, and a series of technology upgrades across the range. The changes are intended to sharpen the Grecale’s identity while preserving the mix of everyday usability and performance that has defined the model since its arrival in 2022.
The biggest headline is the arrival of new V6-powered variants, expanding a lineup that already includes mild-hybrid and fully electric versions.
Sharper Styling With A Familiar Maserati Face
At first glance, the 2027 Maserati Grecale looks familiar. A closer look reveals a revised front end shaped around a more pronounced interpretation of Maserati’s shark-nose design language.
The bumper and grille have been redesigned on both combustion and electric versions. Maserati says inspiration comes from the MCPURA supercar and the brand’s historic racing single-seaters. Air curtains integrated into the front fascia help guide airflow around the wheel arches, while the Folgore electric model adopts an active grille system that adjusts according to cooling requirements.
The profile remains clean and athletic, balancing smooth body surfaces with technical details that emphasize the SUV’s sporting character.
Spacious Cabin Gets New Touchpoints
Inside, Maserati has focused on areas drivers interact with most often. The steering wheel has been completely redesigned with a distinctive octagonal-inspired shape, flat upper and lower sections, and new material finishes depending on trim level.
A redesigned digital clock also stands out. It now features an octagonal form, a metal outer ring and a glass bezel, replacing the previous circular design. Updated graphics improve readability and display drive mode information directly to the driver.
Space continues to be a major selling point. Maserati describes the Grecale as one of the roomiest vehicles in its segment, with generous accommodation front and rear, along with a luggage compartment that includes underfloor storage and fold-flat rear seats.
New V6 Models Expand The Range
The updated lineup introduces Grecale V6 and Modena V6 variants powered by a 390 CV twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 based on Maserati's Nettuno engine family. The engine uses pre-chamber combustion technology derived from Formula 1 development.
Above them sits the Trofeo V6 with 530 CV, while mild-hybrid four-cylinder versions remain available. Buyers seeking an electric alternative can still choose the Grecale Folgore.
The electric model receives several efficiency-focused updates, including an Air Grille Shutter system, revised airflow management and new low rolling resistance tyres. Maserati says these changes improve efficiency and help increase driving range consistency in everyday use.
A Wider Reach In The Luxury SUV Segment
The 2027 Maserati Grecale now spans mild-hybrid, V6 and fully electric powertrains, giving the model a broader reach within the premium midsize SUV market. With its latest updates focused on design refinement, cabin quality and expanded engine choice, the Grecale continues to position itself as Maserati’s interpretation of a luxury performance SUV rather than simply another premium family crossover.
