2027 Lynk & Co 08 EM-P Gets Its First Updates
The 2027 Lynk & Co 08 EM-P has been revealed through a new collection of images ahead of its scheduled November 5, 2026 launch.
Rather than introducing a completely redesigned SUV, Lynk & Co has concentrated on smaller exterior revisions, updated driver-assistance hardware and additional interior features.
The basic design remains familiar, as does the plug-in hybrid powertrain arrangement. The changes are largely directed at equipment, cabin functionality and the vehicle's overall presentation.
Revised Front Lighting and Dynamic Orange Paint
The updated Lynk & Co 08 EM-P retains the outgoing model's main body design, with several changes concentrated around the lighting and exterior trim.
A new Brilliant Galaxy lighting element introduces revised illumination effects, although the supplied information does not detail its individual functions.
The black trim sections on the front fenders now incorporate Lynk & Co branding.
At the rear, the spoiler has been revised to introduce greater visual layering around the upper tailgate area.
Dynamic Orange joins the available exterior colours, offering a new finish without altering the SUV's underlying proportions.
Familiar SUV Proportions and New LiDAR Hardware
The 2027 model continues with the established 08 EM-P body shape rather than a new platform or substantially revised dimensions.
No changes to overall length, width, height or wheelbase have been disclosed.
One important technical update is the introduction of a 192-line LiDAR system.
The SUV also adopts the Thousand Miles of Vast Ocean H7 driver-assistance solution, although specific operating capabilities and equipment availability have not been detailed.
Updated Cabin With Zero Gravity Passenger Seat
Inside, the 08 EM-P retains its existing dashboard arrangement, centred around a 15.4-inch 2.5K touchscreen.
The infotainment system uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 processor and Flyme Auto 2 software.
An interactive robot-style emoji screen remains positioned above the central display.
A new Warm Sand Gold interior colour joins the available finishes.
Passenger comfort receives particular attention, with a zero-gravity front passenger seat and retractable leg rest.
The front seats also offer heating, ventilation and massage functions.
With the front headrests removed, the rear seating arrangement can be converted into a large resting surface.
Plug In Hybrid Power and Electric Range
The 2027 Lynk & Co 08 EM-P reportedly continues with its 1.5-litre turbocharged plug-in hybrid system.
The single-motor version delivers a reported combined output of 300 kW, while the dual-motor configuration produces 456 kW.
Their respective CLTC electric ranges are listed at 230 km and 210 km.
WLTC fuel consumption with a depleted battery is reported at 5.5 and 6.0 litres per 100 km.
November Launch and Market Positioning
The revised 08 EM-P is scheduled for launch on November 5, 2026.
Its combination of electric driving capability, cabin comfort features and updated assistance technology continues the model's existing plug-in hybrid positioning.
