Dual motors produce 215 kW (292 PS) and 468 Nm, sending power to all four wheels.
The 81.4 kWh battery provides 501 km of WLTP range, with a 31 minute 10 to 80 percent DC charging time.
GT hardware includes 20 inch wheels, Preview Electronic Controlled Suspension, Launch Control and torque vectoring.
The 2027 Kia EV3 GT takes Kia’s compact electric SUV into territory previously occupied by the larger EV6 GT and EV9 GT. It is one of three new electric GT models introduced to Europe alongside the EV4 GT and EV5 GT, all using dual motor all wheel drive and a shared set of GT specific technologies.
For the EV3, that means considerably more than a cosmetic package. There is extra power, revised suspension tuning and a collection of software features intended to change how the car responds from behind the wheel.
GT Details Sharpen the Compact SUV Shape
The EV3 GT retains the compact SUV format of the regular EV3, measuring 4,310 mm long, 1,850 mm wide and 1,575 mm tall. Its 2,680 mm wheelbase leaves relatively short bodywork around the cabin, keeping the proportions familiar rather than turning the GT into a lower crossover.
Kia distinguishes the EV3 GT through model specific exterior details, including neon green accents and 20 inch GT alloy wheels. Neon green brake calipers are another visual identifier used across the new GT range.
Suspension Changes Go Beyond Appearance
Underneath, increased spring rates provide a firmer setup, while revised anti roll bars reduce body roll. Preview Electronic Controlled Suspension uses a forward facing camera to analyse the road and adjust damping within milliseconds. Steering response and the steering ratio have also been revised.
Normal, Sport and GT modes progressively alter the damping and handling response. Electric Dynamic Torque Vectoring Control combines braking and motor control to assist cornering stability, while Launch Control is included for standing starts.
Semi Bucket Seats Bring Neon Green Inside
The cabin receives GT exclusive semi bucket sports seats finished in suede with neon green accents. There is also a dedicated perforated leather steering wheel, sport pedals, black and neon trim, Harman Kardon audio and dual wireless smartphone charging.
Virtual Gear Shift simulates gear changes and shift feel, while Active Sound Design responds to speed, acceleration and torque. Performance Timer and GT specific displays provide another layer of information for the driver.
Practicality has not disappeared. Luggage capacity remains 413 litres, and Kia lists a broad suite of driver assistance systems including Highway Driving Assist 2 and Smart Cruise Control 2.
Dual Motors Deliver 292 PS
The EV3 GT uses an 81.4 kWh battery with a 145 kW front motor and 70 kW rear motor. Combined output is 215 kW, or 292 PS, with 468 Nm of torque. Zero to 100 km/h takes 5.7 seconds and maximum speed is 170 km/h.
WLTP range is rated at 501 km. A 10 to 80 percent DC fast charge takes 31 minutes, while AC charging takes 7 hours 15 minutes at 11 kW or 3 hours 55 minutes at 22 kW.
Kia says the three new EV3 GT models are now available on the European market. UK pricing and specification will be announced separately.
