2027 Dodge Durango After Dark

After Dark is a new deep metallic blue exterior color that changes character under different lighting.
The finish is available across the HEMI powered Durango range, from the 360 hp GT to the 710 hp SRT Hellcat.

The 2027 Dodge Durango After Dark is not a separate trim or performance package. Instead, it is a new exterior color that gives Dodge's three row SUV another factory customization option for 2027.
After Dark becomes the ninth paint choice in the Durango palette and follows the recently introduced Redeye finish. It is available now across the entire HEMI powered lineup for a US MSRP of $595.
Deep Blue Paint Changes With the Light
The main story is the paint itself. Dodge describes After Dark as a rich, deep metallic blue with a finish that changes noticeably depending on its surroundings.
Metallic highlights become more visible in direct sunlight. Once the light drops, the darker blue base becomes more prominent, giving the Durango a considerably more subdued appearance. There are no After Dark specific body panels or aerodynamic changes mentioned in the supplied material.
That leaves the Durango's familiar proportions untouched. It remains a large three row SUV with a tall body and performance oriented styling, with the new color working across several very different HEMI powered versions.
Nine Colors Now Available for the Durango
After Dark joins Redeye, B5 Blue, Destroyer Grey, Green Machine, Night Moves, Pitch Black, Red Oxide and White Knuckle. The broader choice is part of Dodge's continuing emphasis on factory personalization.
The color also extends to the SRT Hellcat Jailbreak, where it combines with the model's existing selection of stripes, wheels, interior appointments and exterior details. Dodge says this pushes the number of potential Jailbreak configurations beyond 16 million.
HEMI Power Starts at 360 HP
There are no mechanical changes associated with After Dark. At the entry point, the Durango GT HEMI AWD produces 360 horsepower from its 5.7 liter V8.
The Durango R/T 392 steps up to 475 horsepower, while the SRT Hellcat and SRT Hellcat Jailbreak sit at the top with 710 horsepower. The latter uses Dodge's supercharged HEMI V8.
Customization Remains the Main Focus
Dodge has not detailed any After Dark specific changes to the cabin, seating arrangement, infotainment or cargo area. Those elements therefore depend on the Durango trim and options selected rather than the new paint color.
That distinction matters because After Dark can be applied across the full HEMI powered range rather than being tied to one equipment level.
The result is a relatively simple 2027 update, but one that fits the Durango's current positioning. Buyers can apply the same deep metallic blue to a 360 hp GT HEMI AWD, a 475 hp R/T 392 or one of the 710 hp Hellcat models. For Jailbreak customers in particular, it becomes another variable in an already unusually broad factory customization program.
