The 2027 Dodge Charger Sixpack 4-Door European Version brings the combustion-powered side of Dodge's eighth-generation muscle car to a more practical sedan body. The new Charger sits on the STLA Large platform, an architecture developed to accommodate both the electric Daytona drivetrain and the SIXPACK's twin-turbocharged straight-six.

Widebody Shape Hides a Practical Hatch

The four-door model retains the Charger's widebody architecture and muscle-car proportions rather than adopting the profile of a conventional sedan. Its unusual packaging becomes clearer at the back.

Dodge uses what it calls a "hidden hatch," maintaining a coupe-like rear profile while giving owners access to a larger luggage area. There is seating for five, with up to 1,064 litres of rear cargo space. Dodge also claims best-in-class rear passenger legroom.

Hurricane Six Replaces the HEMI

SIXPACK models use Dodge's 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged Hurricane straight-six. The engine has a cast-aluminum block, forged-steel internals, 350-bar direct injection, independent variable valve timing and dedicated water-to-air charge cooling.

In R/T specification it produces 420 hp and 468 lb-ft, reaching 60 mph in 4.6 seconds and covering the quarter mile in 12.9 seconds. The Scat Pack's high-output version makes 550 hp and 531 lb-ft, cutting those figures to 3.9 and 12.2 seconds respectively.

The SIXPACK also gets an active exhaust with electronically controlled dual-mode valves.

AWD With Rear Drive On Demand

Every new Charger comes with all-wheel drive, but the SIXPACK can disconnect the front axle and send 100 percent of engine torque rearward. Line Lock is standard on the Scat Pack and available for the R/T with the Performance Handling Group.

Underneath are a multi-link front suspension and independent integral-link rear layout. SIXPACK Scat Pack models add six-piston front Brembo calipers.

Digital Cabin Keeps Performance Controls Close

The driver faces a 16-inch instrument cluster alongside a central touchscreen, with an augmented head-up display also described in the release. Drive-mode controls provide access to Auto, Eco, Wet/Snow, Sport and Custom settings, changing steering, drivetrain and exhaust behaviour.
