Chrysler Gives the Pacifica a Patriotic Theme

Special-edition minivans are not exactly common, which makes the 2027 Chrysler Pacifica America250 Edition feel a little unusual right away.

Created to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, the limited-run Pacifica A250 becomes the first special-edition package offered on the refreshed 2027 Pacifica lineup. Chrysler says the model is part of Stellantis’ partnership with America250, the organization leading the nationwide anniversary commemoration.

The idea could have easily turned gimmicky. Surprisingly, the package appears more restrained than expected.

Available in Red Hot, Bright White, and Hydro Blue paint finishes, the Pacifica A250 introduces subtle patriotic touches rather than completely transforming the minivan into a rolling parade float.

There are U.S. flag decals on the doors and liftgate, America250 badging, and star graphics integrated into the front fascia and side sections. The rest of the exterior remains fairly clean, helped by blacked-out trim pieces and fully painted 20-inch Foreshadow wheels that give the van a slightly sportier stance than standard versions.

Interior Details Carry the Theme Further

Inside, Chrysler leans more heavily into the commemorative atmosphere.

The cabin receives black leather seating with Ruby Red stitching across all three rows, while perforated first- and second-row seats feature a subtle blue underlayer visible beneath the leather. Front seatbacks are embossed with American flag graphics, and matching stitching extends onto the dashboard, doors, and armrests.

Additional details include dark ruby seat belts, Liquid Titanium-painted trim bezels, a commemorative America250 startup screen within the instrument cluster, and a red, silver, and blue stitched steering wheel.

Interestingly, Chrysler also offers a decal-delete option for buyers who want the patriotic touches confined mostly to the interior. Choosing that option lowers the price by $495.

Functionality Remains the Pacifica’s Main Strength

Underneath the commemorative detailing, the America250 Edition remains fundamentally the same Pacifica that has dominated the minivan segment for years.

The special edition is offered exclusively on the Pacifica Select trim with seven-passenger seating and either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive configurations. Chrysler continues emphasizing the model’s class-exclusive Stow ’n Go seating and storage system for both the second and third rows.

That practicality remains the Pacifica’s biggest advantage. Even with the patriotic presentation layered over it, this is still designed first as a family vehicle rather than a collectible showpiece.

Limited Production Adds Some Exclusivity

Chrysler says production will be capped at 2,100 units for U.S. retail customers. Orders are already open ahead of dealership arrivals scheduled for this summer.

Pricing for the America250 package starts at $2,995 on top of the Pacifica Select trim. That brings total MSRP to $46,540 for front-wheel-drive versions and $49,535 for all-wheel-drive models before destination charges.

For Chrysler, the Pacifica A250 feels less about performance or reinvention and more about marking a milestone. A minivan probably was never going to be the obvious vehicle for a patriotic special edition, but in a way, that practicality makes the concept feel oddly appropriate.
