2027 BMW i7 60 xDrive M Sport Package Pro Revealed
The 2027 BMW i7 60 xDrive M Sport Package Professional brings a more assertive exterior specification to BMW's updated electric flagship sedan.
Unveiled as part of the seventh-generation 7 Series presentation, the i7 introduces Neue Klasse technology alongside revised styling, a redesigned digital cockpit and updated battery hardware.
The M Sport Package Professional builds upon the regular M Sport specification, concentrating on darker exterior finishes and distinctive chassis-related details.
Dark Iconic Glow Grille and M Aerodynamics
The redesigned front features BMW's illuminated Iconic Glow kidney grille, now slimmer and more upright than before.
With the M Sport Package Professional, the grille receives a dark finish, accompanied by extended Shadowline detailing.
The M Aerodynamics package introduces model-specific bumpers, enlarged air intakes and more prominent air curtains.
Optional crystal headlights receive darkened crystal elements when combined with the Professional package.
At the rear, slim redesigned taillights accompany a black M spoiler and a diffuser-style lower section.
21 Inch M Wheels and Extended Shadowline
The i7 retains the long, substantial proportions of BMW's flagship luxury sedan.
A character line runs from the front apron through the door sills toward the rear, while flush-mounted door handles keep the side surfaces relatively uncluttered.
The Professional package replaces the regular M Sport specification's 20-inch wheels with dark-finished 21-inch M aerodynamic wheels.
Black-painted M Sport brake calipers distinguish it from the Dark Blue metallic calipers included with the standard M Sport Package.
Panoramic iDrive and Passenger Display
Inside, BMW introduces Panoramic iDrive with Operating System X.
The system combines a 17.9-inch Central Display, full-width Panoramic Vision projection and a standard 14.6-inch Passenger Screen.
A newly designed M steering wheel is included with the Professional package.
Rear passengers can specify the upgraded 31.3-inch BMW Theater Screen, now featuring 8K resolution and integrated Zoom video calling.
An optional Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System supports Dolby Atmos playback.
536 HP Electric Powertrain and Improved Range
The i7 60 xDrive uses two electric motors producing a combined 536 hp and 549 lb-ft of torque.
BMW quotes approximately 4.6 seconds for the 0–60 mph sprint and an electronically limited top speed of 149 mph.
Sixth-generation cylindrical battery cells increase energy density, contributing to a preliminary driving range exceeding 350 miles.
The updated i7 offers up to 250 kW DC charging, with a quoted 10–80 percent charging time of 28 minutes under suitable conditions.
Pricing and Market Positioning
The i7 60 xDrive starts at $124,700 in the United States, excluding $1,550 destination and handling.
BMW has not specified a separate price for the M Sport Package Professional in the supplied announcement.
Production of the updated 7 Series begins at BMW Group Plant Dingolfing in July 2026.
