Artenara Inspiration Shapes a New Bentayga Edition
The 2027 Bentley Bentayga Artenara Edition arrives as a carefully curated interpretation of Bentley’s flagship luxury SUV, emphasizing craftsmanship, colour coordination and Mulliner detailing. The name itself comes from Artenara, the highest village in Gran Canaria and home to the Roque Bentayga peak, the geological landmark that originally inspired the Bentayga model name.
Bentley describes the edition as a celebration of the most distinctive Bentayga design features, packaged together in a specification that combines curated aesthetics with traditional luxury craftsmanship. The model builds on themes previously seen in the Bentayga Atelier collection, while introducing additional design cues and materials intended to give the SUV a more contemporary character.
Available configurations include standard wheelbase or extended wheelbase versions with a V8 engine, alongside a V6 hybrid powertrain option in the standard wheelbase model.
Exterior Design Emphasizes Clean Surfaces and Mulliner Details
From the outside, the Bentayga Artenara Edition remains instantly recognizable. The broad stance, upright grille and muscular rear haunches maintain the familiar proportions of Bentley’s luxury SUV.
The special edition introduces several design elements drawn from Bentley’s Mulliner customization program. One of the most noticeable is the double diamond grille, a hallmark of Mulliner models that adds a layer of visual depth to the front fascia.
Standard 22-inch Mulliner wheels, finished in grey with polished pockets, reinforce the vehicle’s presence, though customers may opt for alternative finishes including gloss black with granite pockets or a fully polished design. A new 23-inch Super Lux wheel is also available as an option.
Another distinctive detail lies in the treatment of the exterior brightware. Lower body trim pieces, including the door and bumper elements, can be finished in body colour, producing a cleaner side profile than traditional chrome trim.
The Artenara Edition also carries bespoke wing vents featuring the Mulliner double-diamond motif, while illuminated treadplates and animated welcome lamps reinforce the model’s identity.
Interior Motif Inspired by Roque Bentayga
Inside the cabin, Bentley’s design team draws direct inspiration from the rugged landscape surrounding the village of Artenara.
A Roque Bentayga mountain motif appears throughout the interior. The design is etched into the fascia and reproduced as laser-cut perforation patterns across the seat shoulder panels and door trims.
One of the most distinctive elements is the tri-colour interior configuration, previously available only on the Bentayga Mulliner Extended Wheelbase. The Artenara Edition expands this option across additional Bentayga variants, allowing for more expressive interior combinations.
Bentley has developed eight curated colour themes, pairing exterior paint finishes with complementary interior materials and veneers. Examples include combinations such as Verdant exterior paint with Saddle and Camel interior tones accented by Cumbrian Green.
Another pairing uses Pale Brodgar exterior paint with Portland and Beluga interior hides, accented by Linen detailing and Piano Linen veneer. Instead of focusing on personalization, these combinations seek to create harmonious interior spaces based on color harmony.
