The 2026 Toyota bZ Woodland Concept is a battery-electric SUV prototype introduced as part of Toyota's five-vehicle Woodland collection for the 2026 SEMA Show.
The Woodland family features Horizon Blue paint, two-tone exterior detailing, suspension lift kits, enlarged wheel arches, satin-black wheels and all-terrain tyres.
Developed under a shared design direction by CALTY Design Research, the bZ Woodland explores how electric vehicles can support outdoor activities and everyday mobility.
Toyota bZ Woodland Concept Brings Electric Adventure to SEMA
Toyota has unveiled the 2026 Toyota bZ Woodland Concept, a modified battery-electric SUV developed as part of its expanded Woodland concept collection for the 2026 SEMA Show.
The project explores how an electric crossover can be configured for outdoor activities while retaining the practicality associated with everyday transport.
The bZ joins four other Woodland concepts based on the RAV4, Grand Highlander, Sienna and Crown Signia.
CALTY Design Research established the collection's shared visual identity, bringing a consistent combination of exterior colours, raised suspension and adventure equipment to five different vehicles.
Horizon Blue Paint and Two Tone Exterior Design
The bZ Woodland adopts the Horizon Blue exterior colour used throughout the concept family.
Toyota selected the shade as a reference to its 1960s colour palette, including finishes associated with the Stout, Crown and Corona.
Contrasting two-tone paint treatments extend across the bonnet and roof, establishing a visual connection between the five Woodland vehicles.
Large over-fenders provide additional emphasis around the wheel arches.
The treatment gives the electric SUV a more rugged appearance without requiring a completely redesigned body.
Lifted Suspension and All Terrain Wheels
Toyota's Woodland collection incorporates lift kits, satin-black wheels and all-terrain tyres as shared equipment themes.
These modifications establish a higher stance and a more purposeful appearance for the bZ concept.
The dark wheels contrast with the lighter Horizon Blue bodywork, while the enlarged wheel-arch surrounds reinforce the off-road design.
Roof Equipment and Everyday Practicality
Roof racks and crossbars form another part of the Woodland collection's common equipment package.
These accessories illustrate how additional outdoor equipment could be transported without fundamentally changing the vehicle's passenger-focused design.
The bZ Woodland is presented as a possible approach to combining electric mobility with recreational travel.
Woodland Concept Positioning and Production Status
The bZ Woodland extends Toyota's Woodland theme into its battery-electric vehicle range.
Unlike the RAV4 Woodland Plug-in Hybrid Concept, it represents an exclusively electric interpretation of the collection.
Toyota identifies the vehicles as special-project prototypes rather than production models.
The company also cautions that certain accessories may affect warranty coverage, safety or road legality.
