2026 Subaru WRX

The 2026 Subaru WRX starts at $32,495 and is offered in six trims, including the returning Base and new Series.Yellow.
Every WRX uses a 271-hp 2.4-liter turbocharged Boxer engine with Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive.
EyeSight and DriverFocus are now standard across the range, including manual-transmission models.
The 2026 Subaru WRX arrives with a familiar formula but a reshuffled lineup. Subaru has restored the entry-level Base model, bringing the starting MSRP down to $32,495, while six trims now stretch from the standard WRX through Premium, Limited, GT, tS and the limited-production Series.Yellow.
All versions retain the 2.4-liter turbocharged Subaru Boxer engine producing 271 hp, matched with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. A six-speed manual is standard everywhere except the GT. Subaru's Performance Transmission is optional on the Limited and standard on the GT.
Familiar WRX Shape Keeps The Hood Scoop
The exterior continues with the WRX's hood scoop and hexagonal grille, flanked by compact LED headlights. Certain trims add red WRX badges to the grille and trunk lid. The Series.Yellow goes considerably brighter with Sunrise Yellow paint, matte black 19-inch wheels and black badging. Production of that version is capped at 350 cars.
The returning Base model now receives 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels as standard, fitted with 245/40 summer performance tires. A sport-tuned suspension is also included.
Larger Screen Is Standard Across The Range
Every 2026 WRX gets an 11.6-inch Subaru Multimedia Plus system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The standard equipment also includes a rear-view camera, Bluetooth connectivity and dual-zone automatic climate control. Cloth upholstery with red contrast stitching appears in the Base model, along with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift lever.
The practical side remains intact with 60/40 split-folding rear seats. Higher trims add equipment such as heated seats, a Harman Kardon audio system, navigation and Ultrasuede upholstery.
tS Brings STI Tuned Chassis Hardware
The WRX tS sits toward the performance end of the range with STI-tuned electronically controlled dampers. Drivers can adjust the suspension through Comfort, Normal and Sport settings, while steering and throttle response can also be configured.
Its braking hardware includes six-piston front and two-piston rear Brembo calipers finished in gold. Satin gray 19-inch wheels wear 245/35 Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires.
Six Trims Cover A Wide Price Range
The Premium starts at $33,995, while the manual Limited costs $38,995 and the SPT version $39,995. GT and tS models are both priced at $44,995. Series.Yellow tops the lineup at $45,995. The pricing table on page five confirms each trim and transmission combination.
Subaru says the 2026 WRX is assembled in Gunma, Japan, with U.S. retailer arrivals beginning in spring.
