Anniversary Edition Marks a Decade of Kodiaq
The 2026 Skoda Kodiaq Edition X arrives as a limited model commemorating ten years since the original Kodiaq reshaped the brand’s SUV portfolio.
Positioned within the existing line-up, the Skoda Kodiaq Edition X builds on the Kodiaq SE L and introduces a higher level of standard equipment while retaining a competitive price of £40,590 OTR (P11D £39,995).
Order books open on 16 April 2026, with first deliveries expected in late spring. The timing underlines the Kodiaq’s ongoing importance as Skoda’s flagship SUV, a role it has held since its introduction in 2016.
Exterior Design and Specification Changes
Visually, the 2026 Skoda Kodiaq Edition X retains the broad-shouldered stance and upright proportions that define the second-generation model, but adds a series of subtle revisions. Standard metallic paint and 19-inch Halti anthracite alloy wheels provide a darker visual base.
A black D-pillar treatment and unique dark chrome front grille sharpen the profile, while chrome roof rails add contrast along the roofline.
A horizontal light strip integrated into the front grille and a red decorative strip between the rear LED lights distinguish the Skoda Kodiaq Edition X from the regular SE L. Rear privacy glass completes the package. The effect is measured rather than dramatic. It reads as a commemorative trim, not a styling overhaul.

Lighting Technology and Powertrain
Technology is central to the Skoda Kodiaq Edition X specification. LED Matrix headlights with adaptive front light system and all-weather lighting, including a cornering function, are standard.
At the rear, LED lights with welcome effect and dynamic indicators create a distinct light signature. Power comes from Skoda’s 1.5 TSI e-TEC 150 PS engine, paired with a seven-speed DSG transmission.
The mild hybrid system uses 48V technology and an electric motor to support smoother start-stop operation and coasting for improved efficiency.
