2026 Skoda Kodiaq LK

Flagship with a Familiar Name

Skoda has introduced the 2026 Kodiaq LK, a new range-topping edition named after brand founders Laurin and Klement — a badge that traditionally signals peak refinement within the lineup. Announced this week from Mladá Boleslav, the new LK continues the brand’s steady move upmarket, combining luxury appointments with everyday versatility

It’s the first time the Kodiaq L&K (Laurin & Klement) is available with a plug-in hybrid system. The 1.5 TSI iV delivers 204 PS through a DSG transmission and offers up to 71 miles of electric-only range, making it the most efficient Kodiaq L&K to date. Alongside it sit two familiar powertrains: a 2.0 TSI 204 PS 4x4 and a 2.0 TDI 193 PS 4x4, both with seven-speed DSGs.

A Softer, Richer Interior

Step inside and the Kodiaq LK feels closer to a luxury grand tourer than a family SUV. Skoda’s Suite Cognac Design Selection dominates the cabin — deep brown leather surfaces, finely stitched, with subtle chrome touches and ambient lighting creating a mature atmosphere.

Front seats gain electrical adjustment, ventilation, memory, and even massage functions. Rear passengers are looked after too, with standard heated seats and generous legroom. The details — aluminium pedals, variable boot floor, bespoke L&K mats — feel thoughtfully executed rather than ornamental.

Five-seat and seven-seat configurations remain depending on powertrain. The PHEV variant is five-seat only, while the petrol and diesel versions continue to serve family-hauling duties with up to seven occupants. Cargo space ranges from 340 to 2,035 litres depending on configuration, maintaining the Kodiaq’s reputation for practicality.

Outside, a Discreet Statement

The 2026 Kodiaq LK wears its upgrades quietly. The design keeps to the second-generation Kodiaq’s strong geometric lines and upright stance but adds restrained touches: 20-inch Venus alloy wheels, metallic paint, L&K badging, and subtle running boards. It’s still unmistakably Skoda — pragmatic, confident, and clean.

Adaptive cruise control, head-up display, remote park assist, and a surround-view camera system come standard. The CANTON sound system and Virtual Pedal tailgate underline the car’s balance between tech and comfort.
