Lunar Edition Returns to Ram’s Heavy Duty Lineup
Ram has introduced the 2026 Ram 2500 Rebel Lunar Edition, a limited styling package that returns to the heavy-duty lineup with distinctive exterior and interior detailing inspired by lunar imagery. The special edition arrives alongside a similar treatment for the Power Wagon, though the Rebel version focuses on Ram’s heavy-duty diesel off-road pickup platform.
Orders for the Lunar Edition package open later this month, with the 2026 Ram 2500 Rebel Lunar Edition starting at $93,885 including destination. The package itself adds $1,995 to the standard Rebel specification.
The formula is straightforward. Ram takes an already capable off-road truck and layers on distinctive visual details that set it apart from the broader lineup.
Ceramic Grey Two Tone and Lunar Graphics
Visually, the 2026 Ram 2500 Rebel Lunar Edition introduces a two-tone finish built around Ceramic Grey Clear-Coat paint paired with a Diamond Black Crystal Pearl-Coat lower body. The effect is deliberately monochromatic, emphasizing the truck’s mass and upright stance.
A color-matched Ceramic Grey grille surround replaces the standard black trim, creating a more cohesive front fascia. Gloss Black Lunar graphics appear along the bodyside, while black-painted wheels—20 inches on the Rebel—complete the exterior treatment.
The design remains unmistakably Ram. The Rebel’s broad shoulders, high ride height and squared-off bodywork retain the presence expected from a three-quarter-ton pickup.
Diesel Power and Heavy Duty Capability
Beneath the hood, the 2026 Ram 2500 Rebel Lunar Edition is powered by the available 6.7 liter Cummins High Output turbo diesel inline six. The engine produces 430 horsepower and 1,075 lb-ft of torque.
In the Rebel configuration, this powertrain supports up to 3,300 pounds of payload and a maximum towing capacity of 19,890 pounds. The truck also incorporates underbody skid plates for the fuel tank and transfer case, along with aggressive 34-inch off-road tires and a rear electronic locking differential.
Ram’s class-exclusive link-coil rear suspension system remains standard, with an available automatic-leveling rear air suspension designed to maintain ride height under heavy load or when towing.
Interior Details and Level 2 Equipment Package
Inside the cabin, the Lunar Edition package adds ultra-premium Natura Plus black leather bucket seats embossed with Rebel logos. Copperhead Orange contrast stitching extends across the dashboard, doors, steering wheel and even the grab handles, introducing a subtle but unmistakable accent.
A unique alloy center console badge finished in black with machined Satin Chrome lettering further distinguishes the special edition. The truck also incorporates a Mopar lockable console storage compartment for secure storage of valuables.
The Lunar Edition builds on Ram’s Level 2 Equipment Group, which includes a 14.5-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, a 10.25-inch front passenger interactive display and a 17-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system. Additional equipment includes a sport performance hood, spray-in bedliner and deployable bed step.
