2026 RAM 2500 Warlock
By Lorenzo Bianchi October 9, 2025
The 2026 Ram 2500 Warlock returns for the first time in heavy-duty form, reviving a nameplate from the 1970s.
Offered alongside the Black Express, priced from $78,885 CAD.
- Powered by a 6.4L HEMI V8 or optional 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel with up to 1,075 lb-ft of torque.
A Modern Take on a Legendary Name
The 2026 Ram 2500 Warlock isn’t a marketing gimmick — it’s a callback to one of Dodge’s most memorable “Adult Toys” trucks from the late 1970s. This time, though, it’s built on Ram’s heavy-duty platform and designed for buyers who want factory attitude without aftermarket hassle.
The truck arrives alongside the new Ram 2500 Black Express, both forming part of Ram’s plan to introduce 25 new models in the next 18 months. The Warlock, priced from $78,885 CAD, joins the lineup as the off-road-oriented variant, while the Black Express focuses on urban style
Design: Muscle with Memory
In photos, the RAM 2500 Warlock has that unmistakable stance — wide, square-shouldered, and slightly aggressive without looking overdone. It gets a black grille surround, fender flares, bumpers, and a Warlock bedside decal as a throwback to the original. The 20-inch diamond-cut wheels wrapped in 33-inch Goodyear Duratrac A/T tires underline its intent
Paint choices are classic Ram — Diamond Black, Bright White, Granite Crystal, Silver Zynith, Flame Red, and more, though a few shades will arrive later in limited availability. Inside, it’s simple but durable: cloth bench seats, carpet flooring, and all-weather mats — a mix of comfort and utility
Under the Hood
The RAM 2500 Warlock can be had with two powertrains. The standard 6.4-litre HEMI V8 delivers 405 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed Torqueflite automatic. For those who care more about hauling and torque than revs, the optional 6.7-litre Cummins High-Output Turbo Diesel is the star — producing 430 hp and a staggering 1,075 lb-ft of torque, the best in its class
Bilstein shocks, an anti-spin rear differential, hill descent control, and a transfer case skid plate are all standard, ensuring this truck can take a beating off-road. Yet Ram’s signature link-coil rear suspension remains, giving it one of the most composed rides in the heavy-duty segment
A Nod to the Past, Built for Today
The RAM 2500 Warlock name has history. First introduced in the Dodge D-Series of the late ’70s, it was a “factory custom” pickup built for looks as much as work. The name returned briefly in 2019 on the Ram 1500 Classic. Now, for 2026, it comes full circle — bigger, tougher, and sharper than ever
The truck will be built in Saltillo, Mexico, with limited Canadian availability starting Q3 2025.
For those who think “heavy-duty” and “factory custom” can’t coexist, the 2026 Ram 2500 Warlock is Ram’s way of saying — watch it do both.
