2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S 992 ll UK Version

By Lorenzo Bianchi

  • New T-Hybrid system delivers 711 PS and 800 Nm.

  • 0–62 mph in 2.5 seconds with improved responsiveness.

  • Enhanced aerodynamics, chassis control, and braking system.

A familiar shape, sharpened with intent

The 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S 992 II doesn’t stray far from the established 911 silhouette. It doesn’t need to.

The changes sit in the details. The body is wider than the Carrera models, with more pronounced rear sections and functional openings built into the side panels. At the back, the ventilation elements are more visible now, reinforcing the car’s width rather than hiding it.

There’s also a shift in how the surfaces are treated. The rear fascia feels more layered, with the light bar sitting above a more structured lower section. It’s subtle, but it changes how the car reads from behind.

New Turbonite accents appear across the exterior, including the badging and trim elements. They’re small touches, but they separate this from the rest of the range without altering the core design.

Proportions remain, but capability expands

The proportions haven’t changed dramatically. Low, wide, rear-engined stance. That’s still the foundation.

What has changed is how the car uses that footprint. The track is wider, the tyres are larger, and the rear axle now runs 325-section rubber. It gives the car more grip, especially under acceleration.

Aerodynamics play a bigger role too. Active cooling flaps at the front, a variable front spoiler, and a reworked rear wing all adjust depending on speed and conditions. The system can reduce drag or increase downforce as needed, rather than committing to one setup.

Interior mixes familiarity with new details

Inside, the layout stays close to what’s expected from a modern 911, but there are some differences.

Turbonite accents carry into the cabin, appearing on the dashboard, steering wheel, and even the seat belts. It’s a consistent theme rather than a one-off detail.

Materials lean toward a mix of leather, carbon-style trim, and microfibre. The headliner uses a perforated design with a darker backing, which changes how light moves through the cabin.

The Turbo S remains a two-seater by default, though rear seats can be added without extra cost. It’s a small detail, but it reinforces the idea that this isn’t purely a track-focused machine.

Hybrid powertrain changes the character

The biggest shift sits under the rear deck.

The 2026 model introduces a T-Hybrid system, combining a 3.6-litre boxer engine with two electric exhaust gas turbochargers and an integrated electric motor within the transmission. Total output reaches 711 PS, with 800 Nm of torque available across a wide rev range.

That changes how the car responds. The electric assistance fills gaps in the power delivery, while the twin e-turbos improve throttle response compared to traditional setups.

Performance figures reflect that. 0–62 mph takes 2.5 seconds, and the car reaches 124 mph in 8.4 seconds. Top speed sits at 200 mph.

Built for more than just outright speed

Despite the focus on performance, usability hasn’t been left behind.

The chassis now includes electro-hydraulic Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control as standard, reducing body roll and improving stability. The braking system has been upgraded as well, with larger ceramic discs and improved cooling.

In wet mode, the aerodynamic system adjusts to reduce spray and improve braking consistency.

The result is a car that feels more adaptable, not just faster.

Positioned as the most complete 911

The 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S 992 II sits at the top of the standard 911 range.

It combines performance, comfort, and usability in a way few cars attempt. Pricing starts from £199,100 in the UK, with the Cabriolet variant positioned slightly higher.

For Porsche, this remains the benchmark model. Not just for speed, but for how broadly it can be used.
