2026 Peugeot E-308 SW
By Lorenzo Bianchi August 27, 2025
The 2026 E‑308 SW debuts a larger 58.4 kWh battery (55.4 kWh usable), boosting estimated electric range to around 450 km WLTP with a 115 kW motor.
Design updates include Peugeot’s new front grille, revised lighting with “lion claw” LED signature, and improved aerodynamics on the estate body.
Interior enhancements center on the i‑Cockpit® layout with a 10″ touchscreen, 3D display option, and advanced charging features like V2L and Plug & Charge.
Refined Styling and Estate Efficiency
The 2026 Peugeot E‑308 SW incorporates Peugeot’s refreshed design language. A newly styled front grille replaces the previous radiator grille, paired with integrated LED “lion claw” headlights. Higher trims feature an illuminated Peugeot logo for the first time. On the estate form factor, these styling cues lend a more aerodynamic and dynamic aesthetic. New 18″ Ottawa diamond-cut wheels reduce drag while reinforcing the premium visual presence common to Peugeot’s refreshed range.
Expanded Battery for Longer Electric Range
Under the skin, the E‑308 SW gains a larger battery—58.4 kWh gross (55.4 kWh usable)—up from the prior 54 kWh pack. The electric motor remains the same 115 kW unit, but efficiency improvements yield an estimated 450 km WLTP range. While the previous setup offered around 412 km, this update pushes the model further into segment-leading territory.
The electric station wagon supports 100 kW DC fast charging, taking the battery from 20 % to 80 % in approximately 32 minutes. AC charging remains at 11 kW three‑phase.
i-Cockpit® Interior and Updated Connectivity
Inside, the E‑308 SW adopts Peugeot’s i‑Cockpit® arrangement with a compact steering wheel, optional 3D digital instrument display, and a 10-inch central touchscreen running i‑Connect Advanced software. GT trims can access customisable UI and ambient LED lighting.
Modern charging functionality is improved too, with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability enabling up to 3.5 kW of power output for external devices. Plug & Charge support is scheduled for spring 2026, allowing automatic payment at compatible charging stations. The navigation system now includes a dynamic charging route planner that adjusts en route based on battery level, traffic and elevation.
Estate Body with Practical Space
Built on the EMP2 platform, the E‑308 SW delivers estate-class versatility within a compact footprint. Exterior dimensions:
- Length: ~4,635 mm
- Width: ~1,850 mm
- Height: ~1,475 mm
- Wheelbase: ~2,740 mm
Boot space remains generous—approximately 548 L with seats upright and up to 1,574 L with them folded down.
Pricing and Market Fit
In the UK, the E‑308 SW Allure trim starts at £41,250 on-the-road, with the GT trim reaching £43,320. A £1,500 Peugeot Switch Grant and 0% APR financing makes it competitive within the EV wagon niche.
