Surgical Refinement of an Icona Supercar
How does one refine a Ferrari Daytona SP3, already among the most exclusive cars to leave Maranello’s Icona series? According to NOVITEC, the answer lies not in reinvention but in precision. The German specialist applies what it describes as calculated, professional surgical procedures to enhance the car’s design and dynamic character.
The 2026 Novitec Ferrari Daytona SP3 remains fundamentally the same mid-engined hypercar. Its carbon-intensive bodywork, removable roof and wedge-shaped proportions are untouched. Visually, the changes are restrained. The most immediate cues come from the bespoke wheel package and subtle stance adjustments, which sharpen the SP3’s already dramatic posture.
High Performance Exhaust and Power Increase
At the centre of the transformation is a meticulously calibrated NOVITEC high-performance exhaust system equipped with metal catalysts. Designed specifically for the naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12, the system reduces exhaust back pressure and optimises gas flow.
The result is a 20.6 kW, or 28 horsepower, increase in peak output. Total power rises to 638 kW, equivalent to 868 hp. In a car already defined by its high-revving twelve-cylinder character, the additional output sharpens throttle response and amplifies the urgency at the top end.
Thermal insulation is integrated into the system to limit heat build-up in the engine bay. Buyers may also specify the exhaust with 999 fine gold-plating, a functional detail aimed at further dissipating heat.
It is an extravagant solution, but technically justified. Electronically controlled sound management allows the exhaust note to be varied from inside the cockpit. With the flaps closed, the tone remains subdued. Opened at higher revs, the system produces a V12 soundtrack reminiscent of motor racing.
Forged Wheels and Stance
Wheels define stance, and for the 2026 Novitec Ferrari Daytona SP3, they are developed in cooperation with Vossen. The forged alloys are offered in three designs and multiple finishes, tailored specifically to the SP3’s wheel arches. The featured NF10 wheels use a five twin-spoke configuration with centrelock styling.
Up front, 9.5Jx20 rims are paired with 265/30 ZR20 tyres. At the rear, 12.5Jx21 wheels are wrapped in 345/30 ZR21 rubber. The staggered 20 and 21 inch setup emphasises the SP3’s wedge profile and ensures traction appropriate to its elevated output.
Bespoke Interior Options
NOVITEC also offers individual tailoring of the cockpit, crafting appointments from the finest leather and Alcantara to suit each owner’s preference.
