2026 Nissan Sentra Spec-V Concept
By Lorenzo Bianchi October 29, 2026
The Nissan Sentra Spec-V Concept features a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine producing 300 horsepower, paired with a six-speed manual transmission sourced from the Juke NISMO RS.
Performance modifications include GT-R-sourced Brembo brakes, custom NISMO coilovers, anti-roll bars and 19-inch NISMO LM-RS1 wheels.
A custom body kit, GT-R NISMO rear spoiler and GT-R-sourced Recaro front seats distinguish the concept, which will appear at SEMA 2026.
Nissan Sentra Spec-V Concept Revives a Performance Name
Nissan has revealed the 2026 Nissan Sentra Spec-V Concept, a performance-focused interpretation of its compact sedan developed for the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
The project revisits the Sentra's sporting history, arriving 35 years after the original Sentra SE-R appeared in North America.
Rather than presenting a new production variant, Nissan has created a modified concept celebrating the sport-compact and tuner community that helped establish the SE-R's reputation.
Custom Body Kit and GT-R NISMO Rear Spoiler
The Sentra Spec-V Concept receives a custom exterior body kit designed to separate it from the regular sedan.
Nissan has not provided a detailed breakdown of the individual front bumper, grille or lighting modifications in its announcement.
The most significant confirmed aerodynamic addition is a rear spoiler sourced from the GT-R NISMO.
Its inclusion gives the compact sedan a direct visual connection with Nissan's established performance models.
The project also draws on the company's NISMO parts catalogue, combining components from different Nissan vehicles.
19 Inch NISMO Wheels and Upgraded Suspension
The concept rides on 19-inch NISMO LM-RS1 wheels, replacing the standard wheel arrangement with a performance-oriented setup.
Custom NISMO coilovers and upgraded anti-roll bars form part of the suspension modifications.
Nissan has also fitted a Brembo brake conversion sourced from the GT-R.
These changes focus on the chassis rather than exterior appearance alone, addressing suspension control and braking hardware.
GT-R Recaro Seats for the Interior
Inside, the Sentra Spec-V Concept receives front seats sourced from the Nissan GT-R.
The Recaro seats introduce a performance-oriented seating arrangement consistent with the vehicle's other GT-R-derived components.
The supplied information therefore identifies the front seats as the main confirmed cabin modification.
Turbocharged 2.0 Litre Engine Produces 300 HP
Under the bonnet, the Sentra Spec-V Concept features a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine producing 300 horsepower.
Power is managed through an upgraded six-speed manual transmission sourced from the Nissan Juke NISMO RS.
The combination moves the project beyond a styling exercise, introducing substantial changes to its mechanical specification.
SEMA Debut and Production Possibilities
The Sentra Spec-V Concept will appear at Nissan's stand in the Las Vegas Convention Center's Central Hall from November 3–6, 2026.
It joins two additional Nissan performance projects: the Project NAT2 SCCA Touring 2 Z and a modified Datsun S30.
