2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Twenty Edition

By Lorenzo Bianchi

  • Limited TWENTY Edition celebrates two decades of Range Rover Sport.

  • Features Sanguinello Orange finish and bespoke ‘TWENTY’ detailing.

  • Offers V8 mild hybrid or 550PS plug-in hybrid powertrain.

A celebratory design rooted in past and present

The 2026 Range Rover Sport Twenty Edition arrives as a milestone model. It marks twenty years since the original Range Rover Sport entered production, and the approach reflects that.

At first glance, it still carries the current model’s clean, reductive design. Nothing feels exaggerated. The shape remains familiar, with tight proportions and a planted stance. What changes are the details layered over it.

The standout colour is Sanguinello Orange, an ultra-metallic finish that traces its lineage back to earlier Range Rover Sport models and even the original Range Stormer concept. It’s not the only option, but it sets the tone for the edition.

A Black Exterior Pack adds contrast, giving the car a darker, more cohesive look. Subtle ‘TWENTY’ etchings appear across the body, easy to miss unless you’re looking for them.

Large 23-inch wheels, finished in Gloss Sparkle Silver or optionally black, complete the exterior. The overall impression isn’t dramatic. It’s more considered than that.

Proportions stay true to the modern Sport formula

Underneath, nothing fundamental has changed.

The Range Rover Sport has evolved over three generations, gradually moving from a more muscular, heavy look toward something cleaner and more controlled. The current model represents that shift clearly.

The Twenty Edition doesn’t alter those proportions. It builds on them.

Long wheelbase, relatively short overhangs, and a stance that sits lower than a traditional SUV. It still leans toward road-focused dynamics, even if the off-road capability remains part of the package.

That balance has always defined the Sport, and it’s left intact here.

Interior draws directly from the SV flagship

Inside, the changes are more tangible.

The seats come from the Range Rover Sport SV. They’re Ebony Windsor leather units, sculpted and lightweight, with a shape that prioritises support without sacrificing comfort.

There’s a noticeable shift in atmosphere. Forged carbon trim replaces some of the usual materials, and a black suedecloth headliner darkens the cabin slightly. It feels more focused, but not stripped back.

Branding is handled carefully. Illuminated ‘TWENTY’ treadplates and subtle script on the centre console mark the edition without dominating the space.

The rest of the layout remains familiar, which is probably the point. It keeps the focus on materials and detail rather than changing how the car is used.

Powertrain options reflect the performance focus

The Twenty Edition carries over the strongest powertrains in the lineup.

At the top end, there’s a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 mild hybrid. It delivers the kind of performance expected from a flagship Range Rover Sport, with an emphasis on effortless acceleration rather than outright aggression.

Alongside it sits the P550e plug-in hybrid. It pairs a 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine with a 105kW electric motor and a 38.2kWh battery.

Combined output reaches 550PS, with an electric-only range of up to 115km under WLTP testing. That gives it a different kind of flexibility, especially for shorter daily drives.

Both options underline what this edition is about. Performance, but delivered in a controlled, refined way.

Practical capability remains unchanged

Despite the focus on design and performance, the underlying usability hasn’t been altered.

The Range Rover Sport continues to carry its full set of all-terrain technologies, including systems like Terrain Response and Hill Descent Control. These remain part of the car’s core identity.

On-road, the focus stays on stability and composure. Suspension systems, braking hardware, and drivetrain calibration all work together to maintain that balance between comfort and control.

It’s the same approach that has defined the model over the past two decades.

Positioned as a milestone rather than a reinvention

The 2026 Range Rover Sport Twenty Edition isn’t intended to reset the model.

It’s a limited-run version that looks back as much as it looks forward. The design references earlier cars, the interior borrows from the latest flagship, and the powertrains sit at the top of the current range.

In that sense, it works as a snapshot of where the Range Rover Sport stands after twenty years.

Orders are now open, with the edition marking a specific point in the model’s ongoing evolution.
