2026 KGM Musso Rhino Arrives With Bigger Capability
KGM has given its long-running pick-up a comprehensive overhaul with the launch of the 2026 KGM Musso Rhino. Sitting above the existing Rebel and Saracen models, the new Rhino isn't simply a styling update. It brings a redesigned exterior, a much more modern interior and meaningful upgrades aimed at drivers who rely on their pick-up every day, whether that's on a work site, towing equipment or heading off the beaten track.
A Tougher Look With Genuine Purpose
The new Musso Rhino immediately looks more substantial than the model it replaces. KGM has given the front end a stronger identity with a bold grille, distinctive daytime running lights and HID LED headlamps that help create a wider, more planted stance.
The rest of the truck follows the same theme. Brushed chrome 18-inch alloy wheels, silver side steps, roof rails, Rhino graphics and an embossed KGM tailgate give it a more rugged appearance without going over the top. It's clearly designed to look at home both on the road and out on rougher terrain.
Cabin Moves Closer to an SUV
Open the door and the biggest surprise is inside. Rather than feeling like a traditional commercial vehicle, the 2026 KGM Musso Rhino borrows heavily from modern SUVs.
A pair of 12.3-inch displays dominate the dashboard, bringing together the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come as standard, alongside TomTom navigation, wireless phone charging and intelligent adaptive cruise control. Premium Nappa leather seats, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats and dual-zone climate control make the cabin feel noticeably more refined than previous Musso models.
Built to Handle Hard Work
Under the bonnet sits KGM's familiar 2.2-litre e-XDi diesel engine producing 202PS and 400Nm of torque. It's paired with an Aisin six-speed automatic transmission and a selectable four-wheel-drive system that allows drivers to switch between 2WD, 4WD High and 4WD Low depending on conditions.
For those venturing off the tarmac, locking differentials, hill descent control and hill start assist provide extra confidence. Increased ground clearance and improved approach and departure angles also help the Musso Rhino cope with more demanding terrain.
Practical Features Matter Most
Capability remains one of the Musso Rhino's strongest selling points. Every model is rated to tow up to 3.5 tonnes and comes equipped with Trailer Sway Control, a rear-view camera and a 360-degree surround-view monitoring system to make manoeuvring easier.
The cargo bed has also been thoughtfully updated. An LED bed light, electronic tailgate switch, bumper corner steps and eight tie-down hooks make loading more convenient, while the bed itself is large enough to carry a Euro pallet. The Rhino offers 1,011 litres of cargo volume with a payload of 1,090kg, reinforcing its credentials as a serious working vehicle.
Ready for Work and Everyday Driving
The 2026 KGM Musso Rhino strikes a sensible balance between durability and comfort. It still delivers the strength expected from a traditional pick-up, but the improvements inside the cabin and the upgraded technology make it easier to live with day after day. For buyers who need genuine towing and load-carrying ability without giving up everyday refinement, the latest Musso Rhino takes a noticeable step forward.
