2026 Jeep Wrangler Scrambler SRT Concept
By Lorenzo Bianchi November 4, 2026
The 2026 Jeep Wrangler Scrambler SRT Concept is the first high-speed desert-performance Jeep concept to carry an SRT badge, drawing inspiration from the original CJ-8 Scrambler.
A bespoke long-travel independent front suspension, developed with off-road racer Casey Currie, is paired with a trophy-truck-inspired rear axle and oversized off-road tires.
The concept features an integrated pickup bed, removable and reversible rear seats, Punk’n orange paint and an interior finished in Dark Graphite leather with bronze and orange detailing.
Jeep Wrangler Scrambler SRT Concept Makes Its Las Vegas Debut
Jeep has unveiled the 2026 Jeep Wrangler Scrambler SRT Concept, a desert-focused interpretation of the Wrangler developed by Stellantis' SRT Performance division.
Revealed in Las Vegas on November 2, 2026, the concept draws inspiration from the original CJ-8 Scrambler, combining open-air motoring with pickup utility and high-speed off-road engineering.
Unlike a conventional Wrangler modification, the Scrambler SRT introduces substantial structural and suspension changes. The project also marks the first time a high-speed desert-performance Jeep concept has worn an SRT badge.
Sharknose Front Design and Punk’n Orange Bodywork
The Scrambler SRT begins with a Wrangler chassis, but its bodywork has been extensively revised from the A-pillar rearwards.
A modern sharknose front treatment takes inspiration from traditional Jeep trucks and the Gladiator.
Punk’n orange paint covers the exterior, complemented by SRT-specific graphics and bronze-painted beadlock wheels.
Longer doors, redesigned rear bodywork and unique fender flares distinguish the concept from a standard Wrangler.
A structural roll cage supports the open-air configuration, while a redesigned tailgate completes the pickup-inspired rear section.
Independent Front Suspension for Desert Driving
One of the concept's most significant changes is its bespoke long-travel independent front suspension.
Developed with off-road racing champion Casey Currie, the system is intended to improve steering precision, wheel control and stability during high-speed desert driving.
The suspension architecture builds on technology previously demonstrated by the Jeep Striker Concept.
At the rear, a trophy-truck-inspired axle accompanies heavy-duty wheels and oversized off-road tires.
The wider stance and raised suspension emphasise the vehicle's desert-racing purpose.
Reversible Rear Seats and Integrated Pickup Bed
The Scrambler SRT introduces an unusual approach to passenger and cargo accommodation.
Its rear seats can be rotated through 180 degrees to provide rear-facing seating or removed entirely.
Floor-mounted hooks secure the seats in their selected configuration.
Removing them opens the integrated pickup bed for equipment such as motorcycles, camping supplies and other recreational cargo.
A durable spray-applied bed liner provides additional protection during loading.
Dark Graphite Leather and SRT Interior Details
Inside, the concept features performance-oriented seating trimmed in Dark Graphite leather.
Orange inserts, contrast stitching, bronze accents and SRT embroidery establish a distinctive cabin finish.
Unique grab handles and a rear-seat Jeep Multi-panel System add practical details.
V8 Performance and Concept Positioning
Jeep references V8 power as part of the Scrambler SRT's performance concept, although engine displacement, output and transmission specifications have not been disclosed.
The combination of desert-racing suspension and flexible cargo space places the vehicle outside the conventional Wrangler range.
No production programme, pricing or customer availability has been announced.
For now, the Scrambler SRT remains an engineering and design study exploring a different direction for Jeep's off-road vehicles.
