A Factory-Built Tribute to 60 Years of Bronco
Ford is marking six decades of its legendary utility vehicle with the 2026 Bronco 60th Anniversary Edition. The package builds on the Big Bend trim and adds a focused set of styling updates that nod to the original 1966 model. Offered in both two-door and four-door configurations, the edition is limited to the 2026 model year.
The Ford Bronco 60th Anniversary Edition continues Ford’s recent emphasis on special-edition heritage packages across its lineup, reinforcing Bronco’s place in the brand’s long-term identity.
Exterior Highlights Reflect Bronco’s Original Styling
The most distinctive visual cue is the Wimbledon White modular hardtop, referencing the first-generation Bronco’s signature two-tone appearance. It pairs with three exterior paint options: Shadow Black, Race Red, and Robin’s Egg Blue. The latter is exclusive to this edition.
Side graphics run along the hood and doors in matte white with silver and navy outlines, inspired by classic stripe kits from the late 1960s. Oxford White 17-inch aluminum wheels complete the heritage look. Gloss black finishes are applied to the mirrors, door handles, and fender flares for contrast.
A pair of 60th Anniversary badges sit on the front fenders. These custom emblems are unique to this model and feature a clean serif typeface styled after original Ford badging.
Cabin Details Pull from Bronco’s Mid-Century Roots
Inside, the special edition features Navy Pier and Dark Space Gray seat materials with plaid inserts. The pattern draws directly from early Bronco interior design language but is integrated into the modern Bronco layout without altering ergonomics or equipment.
A brushed-metal “60 Years” logo is mounted on the passenger-side grab handle. Additional cabin features include contrast stitching, low-gloss dash trim, and all-weather floor liners as standard.
Despite the visual changes, the edition keeps the full suite of SYNC 4 technology, a digital instrument cluster, and Ford’s Co-Pilot360 safety suite. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included.
Standard EcoBoost Powertrain and Sasquatch Compatibility
Power comes from the familiar 2.3-liter EcoBoost inline-four engine, rated at 300 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque with premium fuel. The two-door model comes standard with a 7-speed manual transmission, while the 10-speed automatic is optional. The four-door configuration offers the automatic exclusively.
Buyers can also equip the Sasquatch Package, which adds 35-inch mud-terrain tires, Bilstein dampers, front and rear locking differentials, and wider fenders. All versions include part-time 4WD with low-range gearing.
There is no confirmation yet on whether Ford will offer the 2.7L V6 or hybrid powertrains with this anniversary configuration.
Trim, Options, and Availability
The Bronco 60th Anniversary package is offered only on Big Bend trims and will be available for one model year. Ford has not announced production volume. The package includes both visual upgrades and cosmetic hardware but does not introduce any functional changes to drivetrain or chassis.
It will be sold in the United States and Canada starting in late 2025. Deliveries are expected to begin in early 2026.
The edition is positioned as a collector-oriented package that avoids overlap with higher-end trims, keeping the price accessible while delivering limited-run exclusivity.
Pricing and Market Position
Ford has not confirmed official pricing. Based on prior special-edition patterns, the 60th Anniversary package is expected to cost more than the standard Big Bend model, with additional costs for those selecting the Sasquatch Package.
This release enters a segment with growing interest in retro-themed utility vehicles. While Jeep and Toyota have offered their own heritage editions in recent years, Ford has opted for a restrained and focused approach, aimed at preserving the original’s visual legacy while maintaining everyday usability.
