2026 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 European Version

The naturally aspirated 5.5 liter LT6 V8 produces 646 PS and 595 Nm, with peak power arriving at 8,550 rpm.
European specifications include 20 inch front and 21 inch rear wheels, with optional carbon fiber wheels and Z07 equipment.
The Z06 reaches 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds when fitted with the Z07 Performance Package and carbon fiber wheels.
The 2026 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 European Version brings the track focused side of the C8 Corvette to Europe with a specification built around its naturally aspirated LT6 V8. Developed with input from the Corvette Racing Team, the Z06 uses the C8's mid engine architecture but adds a wider track, dedicated chassis tuning and more aggressive aerodynamic treatment.
It is not simply a more powerful Stingray. The body, wheels, cooling and drivetrain have been developed around sustained performance, while the cabin retains the equipment expected from a road going Corvette.
Wider Body Serves a Functional Purpose
The Z06 looks noticeably broader than the Stingray. Chevrolet says its track is 10 centimetres wider, improving stability at higher speeds. The front end has also been shaped around the Z06's increased cooling requirements, while the rear combines a lightweight spoiler with a centrally positioned four outlet exhaust.
At 2,024 mm wide, the European Z06 has substantial road presence. Coupé length varies between 4,731 and 4,734 mm depending on specification, with a 2,722 mm wheelbase. The low roof sits at 1,237 mm.
The brochure photography reinforces those proportions, particularly the front and rear three quarter images on page 4, where the wide rear bodywork and large side intakes are clearly visible.
LT6 V8 Reaches 8550 RPM for Peak Power
The main event sits behind the occupants. Chevrolet's hand assembled 5.5 liter LT6 is a naturally aspirated DOHC V8 producing 646 PS at 8,550 rpm and 595 Nm at 6,300 rpm. Drive is handled by an eight speed dual clutch transmission.
Its engineering differs substantially from a conventional cross plane V8. A flat plane crankshaft reduces rotating mass, while forged titanium connecting rods and forged pistons help the engine change speed rapidly. Titanium intake valves, twin throttle bodies and three adjustable rotational valves support airflow at high engine speeds.
With the optional Z07 Performance Package and carbon fiber wheels, Chevrolet quotes 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds.
Carbon Wheels Reduce Unsprung Mass
Standard sizing is 20 x 10 inches at the front and 21 x 13 inches at the rear. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S ZP tires are standard, while Z07 cars use Pilot Sport Cup 2 R rubber.
Optional carbon fiber wheels cut 18.5 kg per vehicle compared with the regular wheels. Chevrolet says the reduction in unsprung rotating mass improves steering precision and can contribute roughly 1.5 seconds over a two minute circuit lap.
Driver Focused Cabin Still Handles Road Use
Inside, the European Z06 combines a 14 inch driver information display, 12.7 inch central screen and 6.6 inch auxiliary touchscreen on the listed 3LZ specification. GT2 seats use Nappa leather, while carbon fiber and microfiber trim are available.
There is some practicality too. Combined front and rear luggage capacity is quoted at 356.8 liters, giving the mid engine Z06 usable storage beyond track days.
