GM Specialty Vehicles has confirmed the 2026 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Bathurst 12hr Edition, a strictly limited release created to mark the debut of the Corvette Z06 GT3.R at the 2026 Bathurst 12 Hour. Production is capped at just 12 vehicles, each individually numbered from 01 to 12 and built exclusively for Australia and New Zealand.
This edition represents the only allocation of MY26 Z06 models available in the region for the year. In practical terms, it is not simply a cosmetic tribute. It is positioned as the closest possible road-legal expression of the GT3.R that will contest Mount Panorama for the first time in February 2026.
Z07 Performance Hardware at the Core
The Bathurst 12hr Edition builds on the track-focused Z06 3LZ Coupe equipped with the Z07 Performance Package. That means Z07 suspension with Magnetic Selective Ride Control, carbon ceramic Brembo antilock brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R ultra-performance tyres measuring 275/30ZR20 at the front and 345/25ZR21 at the rear. A Carbon Fibre Aero Package is standard, incorporating ground effects, a high wing spoiler and dive planes.
These components are not ornamental. They visually and functionally connect the road car to the GT3.R race programme.

The 2026 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Bathurst 12hr Edition is finished in Switchblade Silver, paired with Carbon Flash painted carbon ground effects and a Carbon Flash carbon-fibre high wing.

The detailing goes further. Corvette Racing “Jake” logo wheel centre caps, a Jake C8.R graphics package across the bonnet and rear panels, carbon flash badges and mirrors, and an exclusive Bathurst 12 Hour track decal reinforce the motorsport link.
Additional Mount Panorama outline decals and Bathurst 12 Hour build plates on the door jambs underline the circuit connection.
From the press imagery, the stance remains low and compact. The mid-engine proportions are unchanged, but the aero surfaces and dark detailing sharpen the car’s visual aggression without overwhelming the base design.
Interior and Ownership Package
Inside, the specification is equally deliberate. Jet Black and Santorini Blue Napa leather with Competition Seats and blue seatbelts is exclusive to this edition in Australia and New Zealand. Carbon-fibre interior trim and stealth accents maintain a motorsport-inspired tone.
Each vehicle carries a unique build plate identifying its individual number from 01 to 12. In addition to the vehicle, owners get a personalized Bathurst 12 Hour experience and ownership package that includes personalized artwork and an indoor car cover with the Corvette GT3 on it.R graphics and merchandise from Corvette Racing.
