2026 Bugatti Veyron La Maison Pur Sang

By Lorenzo Bianchi

  • The car is a one-of-one commission built through La Maison Pur Sang, Bugatti's dedicated certification and restoration division, unveiled at Pebble Beach.

  • It introduces a reworked Machiavelli wheel design sized to run Chiron-spec tires — 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear.

  • The exterior pairs a newly developed 'Rouge Rembrandt' with the Chiron's 'Petrol Blue,' over a 'Magnolia' interior with Côte de Genève detailing on the center console.

A Veyron, Rebuilt Around One Owner's Vision

Bugatti didn't build a new car for this one. It restored an old one, and did it in a way meant to say something about where the Veyron sits twenty years on. The project comes out of La Maison Pur Sang, the in-house division Bugatti set up to handle certification and restoration work on its older models, and this particular Veyron was developed jointly with its owner rather than built to a fixed spec sheet. Bugatti is calling it the La Maison Pur Sang Veyron 20 Years, timed to the model's two-decade anniversary.

New Colors, Familiar Silhouette

The exterior wears a color pairing Bugatti says has never appeared on a Veyron before — the Tourbillon's 'Rouge Rembrandt' alongside the Chiron's 'Petrol Blue.' Bugatti is careful to note the Veyron's original proportions weren't touched; the changes are meant to update the presentation without altering the shape that defined the car in the first place. New three-dimensional mesh elements appear across the front, side and rear air intakes, giving the surfacing a slightly more contemporary read without departing from the Veyron's original design language.

Wheels Borrowed From the Chiron Era

The most visible mechanical update is a new wheel design built to accept Chiron-sized rubber — 20 inches up front, 21 out back. Bugatti based the look on a reinterpretation of the Machiavelli wheel, scaled up rather than replaced outright, so the connection to the Veyron's original design still reads even with the larger diameter. It's a detail aimed at moving the stance forward a generation while keeping the car recognizably a Veyron.

A Cabin Built Around Craft Details

Inside, the car carries a 'Magnolia' color scheme with hand-stitched 'Mocassin' detailing on the steering wheel and gear selector, plus a badge marking the Veyron's 20th anniversary between the seats. The standout piece is a Côte de Genève finish applied to the center console — a striping pattern normally reserved for watch movements, here scaled up to cover a much larger automotive surface. Bugatti frames it as a technical exercise as much as a decorative one, translating a finishing technique from horology into a context it wasn't originally built for.

Performance Specs Aren't Part of This Story

Because this is a restoration project rather than a new model, Bugatti's release doesn't include power output, weight or performance figures — the original Veyron's W16 engine presumably carries over, though the document doesn't confirm mechanical changes either way.
