The 2026 Audi A6 Allroad Quattro introduces a body 111 mm wider than the A6 Avant, with 34 mm additional ground clearance, standard adaptive air suspension and wheels measuring up to 21 inches.
Two electrified powertrains are offered: a 367 PS plug-in hybrid with up to 59 miles of WLTP electric range and a 299 PS 3.0-litre V6 TDI with MHEV plus technology.
The fifth-generation Allroad features quattro all-wheel drive, available all-wheel steering, an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch MMI touchscreen.
Audi A6 Allroad Quattro Returns With a Wider Body
The 2026 Audi A6 Allroad Quattro has been revealed as the fifth generation of Audi's raised estate, introducing a wider body, revised suspension and two electrified powertrains.
Based on the latest A6 Avant, the new Allroad continues with quattro all-wheel drive and adjustable ride height, although its exterior now differs more noticeably from the standard estate.
The biggest change is its width. Audi has increased the body by 111 mm compared with the A6 Avant, accompanied by wider tracks and more pronounced wheel arches.
For the first time, buyers can also choose a plug-in hybrid.
Hexagonal Grille and Wide Body Exterior
The new A6 Allroad measures 5,016 mm long and 1,986 mm wide, with a height varying between 1,479 mm and 1,508 mm.
Hexagonal detailing appears across the Singleframe grille, side air intakes and rear diffuser.
Black protective panels surround the lower body, while functional vents behind the front wheels add definition to the wider stance.
Standard 19-inch wheels can be replaced with 20-inch or 21-inch designs.
Exterior colours include Plateau Grey, Midnight Green, Madeira Brown and Firmament Blue.
Adaptive Air Suspension Raises Ground Clearance
Standard adaptive air suspension provides 55 mm of height adjustment.
In its normal setting, the Allroad sits 34 mm higher than the A6 Avant. Offroad and Offroad+ modes add another 15 mm, while a separate lift function raises the body by 20 mm at low speeds.
All-wheel steering is standard on the plug-in hybrid and optional on the diesel, improving low-speed manoeuvrability and stability.
Plug In Hybrid and V6 Diesel Powertrains
The new A6 Allroad e-hybrid combines a 2.0-litre petrol engine with an electric motor, producing 367 PS and 500 Nm.
Its 20.7 kWh usable battery provides up to 59 miles of WLTP electric range. Charging at 11 kW takes approximately two and a half hours.
The alternative 3.0-litre V6 TDI produces 299 PS and 580 Nm.
It uses MHEV plus technology and an electrically powered compressor to improve response. Both models reach 62 mph in approximately 5.5 and 5.4 seconds respectively.
Digital Cabin With Three Available Displays
Inside, the curved MMI panoramic display combines an 11.9-inch virtual cockpit and 14.5-inch touchscreen.
An optional 10.9-inch passenger display adds separate entertainment functions.
Available equipment includes four-zone climate control, a dimmable panoramic roof and digital Matrix LED headlights.
Luggage capacity ranges from 466 to 1,497 litres, or 404 to 1,423 litres for the plug-in hybrid.
UK Specifications Await Final Confirmation
The 2026 Audi A6 Allroad Quattro retains its position as the more versatile alternative to the A6 Avant, combining additional ground clearance with estate-car practicality.
