2026 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Collezione

By Lorenzo Bianchi

  • Limited to 63 units globally with Instant Classic certification.

  • Features a 520-hp 2.9-liter V6 and standard Akrapovič exhaust.

  • Debuts new Rosso Collezione Giulia paint inspired by Rosso Villa d’Este.

Design and Proportions of the Vehicle

In the press materials, the 2026 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Collezione appears in a dedicated shade called Rosso Collezione Giulia, a darker interpretation of the 33 Stradale–inspired Rosso Villa d’Este. The tone shifts from deep red to near-black depending on the light, giving the sedan a more severe, almost stealth-leaning character. The Collezione package keeps the familiar Giulia proportions—long bonnet, cab-back stance, and tapered tail—but the finish and materials push it into more curated territory.

The carbon-fiber roof, visible in the images and confirmed in the press sheet, reinforces the performance-centric silhouette while adding texture differences across the upper surfaces. Carbon also appears on the front badge, mirror caps, central tunnel trims, and dashboard elements, all aimed at tying the car closer to the racing heritage of the Quadrifoglio name. Even from the static studio photos, the lines read clean and purposeful, free from decorative excess.

Every car in the series carries a numbered interior label (“1 di 63 Collezione” through to the final build), which introduces a sense of finality to the run. The interior stitching in red runs across the leather-clad dashboard, anchoring a cabin that feels more intimate than previous Quadrifoglio editions.

Performance and Powertrain Overview

Alfa Romeo keeps the proven formula: the 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 carries over with 520 hp, placing the Collezione at the top of the combustion-powered Giulia hierarchy. The factory-fitted Akrapovič exhaust system makes the powertrain a little more present, and in the images and specification notes it serves not just as an acoustic element but a visual signature as well.

A carbon-ceramic braking system is standard, identifiable by the burnished calipers with red Alfa Romeo script. While no acceleration or top-speed data is confirmed in the press release, the mechanical package matches the final evolution of the Quadrifoglio series, meaning performance sits in familiar territory for the model line.

Key Features and Interior Impression

The cabin blends leather and Alcantara, with Sparco bucket seats featuring exposed carbon shells noted clearly in the release. Door panels and armrest sections are upholstered in leather, echoing the dashboard’s stitching lines.

The carbon-fiber roof is positioned as a defining visual and technical upgrade. Combined with the specialized red paintwork and interior numbering, it helps set the Collezione apart from past Quadrifoglio models without rewriting the entire formula.

Market Positioning and Segment Context

Alfa Romeo limits the Giulia Quadrifoglio Collezione to just 63 cars, referencing the first production car to wear the Quadrifoglio badge in 1963—the Giulia Ti Super. The brand labels these editions as Instant Classics, aimed at enthusiasts who track Alfa Romeo’s heritage and appreciate the brand’s lineage of red performance models.

Production takes place at the Cassino plant, where the emphasis on craftsmanship and contemporary technology is explicitly called out in the official documentation.
