2025 Audi Concept C

By Lorenzo Bianchi

  • The Concept C is an all‑electric two‑seater featuring a new vertical grille, a strip of four horizontal LED elements in both front and rear lights, and a retractable hard‑top.

  • Its interior embraces “radical simplicity” with a fold‑away 10.4‑inch display, anodized-aluminum controls, and tactile feedback designed to reduce driver distraction.

  • Production is targeted for 2027, with minimal changes from the concept, and it will serve as a spiritual successor to the TT and R8 while previewing Audi’s next design language.

A Clear Vision of Audi’s Future Design

Audi is tying the 2025 Audi Concept C to a broader brand reset, anchored around a philosophy dubbed "The Radical Next." The goal: strip away excess, deliver clarity, and re-emphasize design coherence and emotional connection.

At the Milan reveal, Audi’s CEO spoke about pursuing clarity and focus, while the Chief Creative Officer framed the car as both a design pivot and a statement of cultural impact.

Exterior: Modern, Sculpted, Recognisable

The Audi Concept C is electric and sculpted with precision. A tall, rectangular grille takes center stage, giving it presence even when stationary.

Lighting is pared down to essentials — each headlight and taillight uses exactly four horizontal LED segments, a modern nod to Audi’s four‑ring logo.

The body’s “torré‑like” surfaces appear carved from single blocks of metal — solid, elegant, and modern. An electrically retractable targa roof and absent rear window underline the minimalist, two-seater ambition.

Interior with Purpose and Tactile Focus

Audi’s intent inside the Audi Concept C reads like a manifesto. The interior avoids overwhelming touchscreens and embraces precise, physical touchpoints.

A 10.4-inch display dominates the dash but can retract when the driver prefers clarity over complexity. Controls are anodized aluminum, meant to provide an unmistakable “click” when used.

The materials — leather, cloth, and exposed metal — serve the car’s minimalist ethos. The result feels stripped of flair, but strongly focused on engaging touch and driver clarity.

Positioned Beyond the TT and R8

With both the TT and R8 discontinued, the Audi Concept C is Audi’s renewed answer to its sportscar legacy. It signals a revival — blending the compact impact of the TT with nods to the R8’s precision craftsmanship.

The concept launches a direction that may define separate upcoming models or influence the broader range—showing that emotional edge, design restraint, and technical clarity can coexist.

Road to Production

Audi has stated that the Concept C will reach production with minimal alterations, targeting a 2027 release. That would place it as one of Audi’s notable efforts to bring a modern, minimalist sports EV to market.
