A Hollywood-esque operation was uncovered in a recent operation in which high-performance car-jacking gangs converted Bronx garages into illegal showrooms where stolen cars of their favorite models were kept in storage. Two garages on Jennings Street and Third Avenue yielded 43 cars with a stock value of more than $3.6 million from among which was a $475,000 Rolls-Royce.

The Operative's modus operandi

Thieves used a bold modus operandi: burgling houses to steal key fobs from them and making away with the stolen cars in a matter of seconds.
