2026 Jeep Compass EV

By Team Dailyrevs

  • Versatile Powertrain Options: The 2025 Jeep Compass will be available with mild-hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric powertrains, built on Stellantis' STLA Medium platform.

  • Modernized Exterior Design: The new Compass features a boxier silhouette with sculpted fenders, crisp LED lighting, and shorter overhangs, enhancing its rugged appeal.

  • Upgraded Interior Features: Inside, the Compass boasts a large infotainment display, aluminum-style accents, and premium touches like a double sunroof and leather upholstery with contrasting stitching.

Rugged Stance, Sharper Lines

The 2026 Jeep Compass EV walks into frame with a tougher, more squared-off silhouette than its predecessor. You’ll notice it right away — the boxier arches, more sculpted bodywork, and shorter overhangs. It looks tighter. Less soft-roader, more compact trail-scaler, even if most buyers won’t see gravel. Slimmed-down LED headlights and horizontal DRLs frame the face, while blacked-out pillars give the roof a floating effect — slick but not too flashy.

Cabin Gets a Refresh, With Real Utility

Inside, Jeep’s given the Compass a proper update without overcomplicating it. Big screen up top. Row of tactile buttons below. There’s a rotary dial on the center console that’s probably for drive modes or gear selection — hard to tell yet from static images. The higher trims get leather seats with contrast stitching, a panoramic sunroof, and a head-up display. It feels modern but functional, especially with those brushed aluminum-like accents tying things together.

Riding on STLA Medium, Electrified Options Ahead

What’s under the skin matters more than ever. This new Compass rides on Stellantis’ STLA Medium platform, the same one underpinning the likes of the Peugeot 3008 and Opel Grandland. That unlocks plenty of drivetrain variety — mild hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric. Jeep hasn't confirmed full details yet, but the EV variant is expected to align with what we’ve seen from similar STLA-based models. Range could push well past 400 km, but nothing's official.

Looking at the Competition

This one’s aimed squarely at the compact SUV crowd — think VW ID.4, Hyundai Ioniq 5, maybe even the Skoda Enyaq. It’s not trying to out-luxe anyone, but it’s got more street presence now. And with that platform flexibility, Jeep can tailor it for different markets without reinventing the wheel.

A Familiar Name With New Intent

The Compass has always been Jeep’s global workhorse — the accessible option with enough badge clout to turn heads in suburban driveways. With this 2026 update, it leans harder into EV territory without losing its design DNA. It’s not radically different. But it looks and feels more prepared for the next decade.
