Aston Martin's DBX S is poised to be the most powerful luxury SUV, potentially exceeding 700 hp.
Design enhancements include a larger grille, quad exhausts, and aggressive aero elements.
Set to challenge rivals like the Lamborghini Urus and Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT.
A Tease with Some Teeth
Aston Martin isn’t saying everything just yet — but the 2026 Aston Martin DBX S isn’t hiding either. First teased in late January, the updated DBX looks sharper, angrier, and a whole lot more serious. The brand is positioning this as its new SUV flagship, and judging by what we’ve seen so far, it’s not messing around.
Big Grille, Bigger Intent
Let’s start with the face. That grille? It’s massive. Larger than before and clearly designed for more airflow — either to feed something much more powerful or cool it down. Below it, the front spoiler is deeper, with sharper creases and a bit more drama. You can tell it’s not just cosmetic. There’s function in the form now.
Around back, the quad exhausts give away the plot. This isn’t just a trim package. The diffuser’s been reshaped too, and the wheels look unique to this model — bigger, darker, and more performance-focused. It’s like the regular Aston Martin DBX went to the gym and started training for the Nürburgring.
Power That Means Business
Official specs? Not out yet. But all signs point toward a major bump over the standard Aston Martin DBX’s 542 hp. Word is we’re looking at something north of 700 hp, and that kind of firepower makes this SUV a serious threat to the Lamborghini Urus and Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT — both benchmarks in the fast-luxury space.
Whether it’s a retuned V8 or something even wilder like a V12 hasn’t been confirmed, but Aston's not shy about flexing its powertrain capabilities lately. And honestly, with the way this thing looks, it better back it up.
Inside Still Counts
While most eyes are on what’s changing on the outside, the Aston Martin DBX S isn’t likely to cut corners inside. Expect heated seats, wrapped surfaces, real switchgear, and probably a better infotainment setup than before. Aston Martin’s interiors have always had that old-school-meets-tech vibe — and that’ll probably stay true here.
It’s still an SUV, after all. Just one with a lot more punch.
Rivals Should Pay Attention
McLaren isn’t in the SUV game yet, and Ferrari’s Purosangue leans a bit more toward GT comfort. That leaves the Aston Martin DBX S to go head-to-head with the big guns from Lamborghini and Porsche. On design alone, it’s already taking swings. The full reveal, slated for February 1, should tell us if the performance lives up to the promise.
And honestly, from what we’ve seen — it just might.
