2025 Volkswagen T-Roc Style Design

By Team Dailyrevs

  • The 2025 Volkswagen T-Roc Style Design introduces a refreshed exterior with sharper lines and a more assertive stance.

  • Enhanced interior features include a 12.9-inch infotainment system and advanced driver assistance technologies.

  • The model offers a range of efficient powertrains, including mild-hybrid options, catering to diverse driving preferences.

Exterior Refresh: Crisp and Confident

The T-Roc's design has always walked the line between crossover cool and compact practicality. The 2025 version tightens things up a bit — visually and otherwise.

You’ve got a more angular grille, thinner LED lights, and a front end that feels tidier overall. The 19-inch alloys and contrast black roof give it that extra flair — more “urban SUV” than soft-roader.

At the back, Volkswagen’s made subtle changes: cleaner taillights, tweaked bumper. Nothing dramatic, but enough to freshen up the silhouette without messing with the formula.

Interior: Tech Forward, Material Upgrade

Inside, the most obvious change is the new 12.9-inch touchscreen, now perched high on the dash. It runs the usual suite of VW’s software — not the slickest out there, but intuitive enough.

Materials are a step up. No more hard plastic where it counts — it now feels like something that earns its price. You get dual-zone climate, ambient lighting, and front seats that won’t punish you after a few hours behind the wheel.

It still seats five, and rear space is fine for the class. No huge leap in cargo room either, but it holds its own.

Powertrain Lineup: Familiar but Evolved

The T-Roc Style Design comes with VW’s 1.5-liter TSI petrol engine, making 150 PS, and mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox. It’s smooth, responsive enough, and good for drivers who still value a traditional engine layout.

Mild-hybrid versions are also available, offering a bit of electric boost under acceleration and improved fuel economy — but without the need to plug in.

Most models are front-wheel drive, though 4MOTION all-wheel drive is available depending on trim. Still no full EV or plug-in hybrid for now.

Safety and Driver Aids: Well-Equipped

VW includes a decent set of driver assists: Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Assist, Front Assist with City Emergency Braking — all standard fare.

You can also opt for Travel Assist, which bundles the above for semi-autonomous highway cruising. Not hands-free, but enough to ease the workload on long trips.

Where It Stands

The T-Roc still fits snugly between the T-Cross and Tiguan. For those wanting something compact but with more polish than entry-level rivals, this Style Design trim delivers.

At £29,315 in the UK, it's not a bargain — but considering the looks, equipment, and mild-hybrid options, it stays competitive in a segment packed with crossovers like the Peugeot 2008, Renault Arkana, and Kia Niro.

If you liked the T-Roc before, you'll like this one more. And if you didn’t? This might be the version that finally catches your eye.
