Volkswagen has introduced a new, sportier variant of the ID.3 series, the ID.3 GTX Performance. Building on the ID.3 GTX’s 210 kW (285 PS), the ID.3 GTX Performance boasts 240 kW (326 PS), making it the most powerful electric drive motor from Volkswagen to date. Both GTX versions efficiently convert power into rear axle traction, thanks to a design that places the new 79 kWh battery centrally in the vehicle's floor, ensuring a low center of gravity and balanced axle load distribution for enhanced driving dynamics and handling.

Enhanced Performance

The ID.3 GTX Performance is equipped with an upgraded Volkswagen Performance drive system, increasing output from 210 kW to 240 kW. It produces a maximum torque of 545 Nm, surpassing the drive power of Volkswagen’s most powerful V6 turbocharged engines. The ID.3 GTX Performance accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds and is electronically limited to a top speed of 200 km/h, a first for the ID. family.
